South Sea Merman R1

Boss Info (Difficulty 1)

   - Lvl 30: HP 70,000
   - Race: Human, Weak from Immortal attacks, Strong vs Demons.

Attack Pattern 1:

 2 Vertical Lines Attack - All Side Tiles with Def- Debuff

   - Only affects those that are within the attack range.
   - Note: Click+hold enemy's red tiles to check attack pattern. First turn will always show incoming Attack Pattern 1.

(Ignore characters, use only as reference for Attack Pattern 1)

Attack Pattern 2:

AoE Attack - All Center Tiles

(Ignore characters, use only as reference for Attack Pattern 2)

Attack Pattern 3:

 2 Horizontal Lines Attack - All 2nd and 4th Column Tiles

(Ignore characters, use only as reference for Attack Pattern 3)

Example Strategy

DPS Characters

   - Place your 2 DPS units (T3+ Output Type and/or Range Type) in the 3rd column from the left (2 center tiles). You may also replace 1 DPS with a Range Type Healer if you like.

Healers

   - I would recommend placing 2 tanky Healers directly in front of the Boss.
   - Let 1 of them dodge Attack Pattern 2 by moving to the side after Attack Pattern 1, then move him/her back to the center tile to continue attacking.

   - You may also replace 1 Healer with a tanky Buffer, Debuffer, Control, DoT (Poison/Burn) unit, or a Debuff Remover, unless the Boss got immunity to certain status effects.

Other Info

   - In case your team is still weak, you can still defeat this Boss by only using 1 T3+ Output Type or Range Type DPS character (make sure 1 will survive). After Attack Pattern 1, move your DPS unit just 1 tile to the side to dodge the incoming Attack Pattern 2, then move him/her back again to continue attacking while dodging all attacks!
   - 5th character can be any unit that you like, or just use 4.

   - Note: The above example strategy is NOT the only way to defeat this Boss.

Gear Drops

Difficulty 1~3: Rare Purple Set

   - Cult Priest Set:
   - Drops Lvl 20 Rare gears that gives 2x Combo Chance +15% set bonus.

Difficulty 4~5: Rare Purple Set

   - Old Story Set:
   - Drops Lvl 25 Rare gears that gives CRIT +42% set bonus.
   - Boss only drops Weapon and Armor, buy the Accessory from the Shop to complete the set.
   - Go to Challenge > Legendary Yokai Mode > click the "Demon Lord List" option to check these set gears.
