Trigger Sets

Rank Fight Trigger Set

   - Critical Trigger (x0), Draw Trigger (x9), Stand Trigger (x0), and Heal Trigger (x4)
   - Refer to the build above (screenshot) for example Triggers Set for specific cards.

   - Set your Heal Triggers to Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant (G3), because you might want to keep and ride Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon (G3) early on as your Grade 3 Vanguard.

For Non Rank Fight Battles

   - NOTE: Feel free to experiment with other Trigger Sets according to your preference. Add more Critical Triggers and/or Stand Triggers if you want to use this deck for certain events, like non Rank Fights that would require you to finish the battle asap.

Narukami Battle Strategies

Mulligan (Starting Cards)

   - Any Grade 1 Card (G1) = Keep x1 or x2, to ensure a Grade 1 Vanguard and to avoid riding Rising Phoenix (G1).
   - Any Grade 2 Card (G2) = Keep x1 or x2, to ensure a Grade 2 Vanguard, preferably Supreme Army Eradicator, Zuitan (G2).
   - Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon (G3) = Keep x1, to ensure a Grade 3 Vanguard.

   - Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon (G3) = Keep x1 (optional), if you didn't get Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon (G3).
   - Sentinel Card (G1) = Keep at least x1.

Basic Battle Strategies

   - Your aim for this build is to deal 4 or 5 damage, then end the battle with your Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon (G3) or Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant's (G3) Limit Break skills!

   - Your FV's skill is really great because it can retire any rear-guard so use it to retire your opponent's FV or Intercept card early on if you like, then simply use Supreme Army Eradicator, Zuitan (G2) if you have, to recover the CB used.

   - Optional: Place Desert Gunner, Shiden (G2) and/or Desert Gunner, Raien (G1) if you have to disable your opponent's Grade 2 Intercept ability. Useful to help you land more Damage.

   - This time, focus on riding Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon (G3) as your Grade 3 Vanguard early on to setup a "Break Ride" for your main Vanguards.

   - In case of a miss-ride, you can go with your filler card Eradicator, Electric Shaper Dragon (G3) or ride straight to your main Vanguards then just switch between your 3 key Vanguards depending on the situation.

How To Use Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon (G3)

Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon (G3)Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon (G3)Ambush Dragon Eradicator, Linchu (FV)Dragonic Deathscythe G2Eradicator, Saucer Cannon Wyvern (G2)
   - (VC): LB4  When your opponent's rear-guard is retired by your card effect, this unit gets +3,000 Power/Critical+1 until end of turn.

   - You can use your FV's skill which can retire any rear-guard, unless used early on.
   - Break Ride (LB4): You can ride Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon (G3) > Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon (G3) to activate this effect as well and without using Counter Blasts! Your Vanguard's total Power should now be 24,000 with Crit if done right.
   - You can stack more Crits by using cards that can also retire like Dragonic Deathscythe (G2) and Eradicator, Saucer Cannon Wyvern (G2) for example, then check if you can end the battle.

   - This skill also works well with Steel-blooded Eradicator, Shuki (G1) to help boost your columns with +10,000 Power or more.

   - (VC): CB2 to retire 1 of your opponent's rear-guards at random, with priority to the back row.
   - Your alternative option if the above ones are not available.

How To Use Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant (G3)

Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant (G3)
   - (VC): LB4 (1/Turn) When this unit attacks, it gets the following ability until end of battle. "(VC): At the end of that battle, if the attack did not hit during that battle, CB1 and discard 2 "Eradicator" cards from your hand to stand it, draw 2 cards, and get Critical+1 until end of turn."

   - Great finisher especially when your opponent's Damage is at 4 or 5 (depends on the situation), to pop their Sentinel Cards or to avoid letting them activate a 6th Damage Heal! Setup multi attacks to maximize these card's effects + trigger checks!
   - This skill requires that you discard 2 "Eradicator" cards, so use your Draw TriggersRising Phoenix (G1), Ceremonial Bonfire Eradicator, Castor (G1), or Iron Fan Eradicator, Nirrti (G2) to gather those cards.

   - TIP: Track your opponent's Sentinel Cards (PG), if you are sure that your opponent doesn't have one in hand, you can also try to end the battle using Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon (G3) + Crits, without using Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant (G3).

   - (VC): CB2 to get +5,000 Power until end of turn.
   - Only use if needed, to overcome defensive triggers.
