Tachikaze Battle Strategies

Mulligan (Starting Cards)

   - Military Dragon, Raptor Sergeant (G1) = Keep x1, to ensure a Grade 1 ride.
   - Military Dragon, Raptor Captain (G2) = Keep x1, to ensure a Grade 2 ride.
   - Military Dragon, Raptor Colonel (G3) = Keep x1, to ensure a Grade 3 ride.

   - Archbird (G1) = Keep at least x1.

Basic Battle Strategies

Military Dragon, Raptor Sergeant (G1)Military Dragon, Raptor Captain (G2)Military Dragon, Raptor Colonel (G3)
   - Focus on riding the Raptor chain, Raptor Sergeant (G1) > Raptor Captain (G2) > Raptor Colonel (G3) to get cards from your deck and increase your Trigger Chance.

   - If the ride chain failed right from the start, at least try to ride Raptor Captain (G2) to add +1,000 permanent Power to your Raptor Colonel (G3) later on.

   - In case of a miss-ride, go and ride any viable sub Vanguard for now, then re-ride Raptor Colonel (G3) once available.

Transport Dragon, Brachioporter (G1)Carrier Dragon, Brachiocarrier (G2)Citadel Dragon, Brachiocastle (G3)
   - "Brachio" cards will be used mainly as targets for your cards that would require you to retire cards (preferably Grade 1 and 3 cards, use Grade 2 cards for Intercepts). Also a good way to increase your Trigger Chance while maintaining Field Presence.
   - For Grade 3 cards, you may place them to the back row if needed.

   - Use them with Raptor Colonel's (G3) skill by retiring 2 "Brachio" cards. Note that replacing them during battle would also trigger their skill effect, so try to setup multi attacks by placing two Grade 1 "Brachio" cards and 1 Grade 3 "Brachio" card (front row) to the field for example. Retire those 2 Grade 1 "Brachio" cards using Raptor Colonel's (G3) skill to replace them with two Grade 2 "Brachio" cards (both to front row to Intercept, replace that Grade 3 "Brachio" card as well to activate it's effect and get a Booster!).

   - TIP: If you have Destruction Dragon, Dark Rex (G3) in Bind Zone, you can combo it (Limit Break skill) with "Brachio" cards to setup multi attacks when your Vanguard's attack got blocked by a Sentinel Card (PG).

How To Use Military Dragon, Raptor Colonel (G3)

Military Dragon, Raptor Colonel (G3)
   - (VC): LB4 When this unit attacks, CB1 & retire 2 rear-guards to increase this unit's Power until end of battle. The increase is the sum of the original Power of the units retired as the cost.
   - Using this skill would let this unit easily reach 20,000+ Power.
   - It is best to choose cards that can trigger a skill when they get retired (preferably Grade 1 and 3 cards, use Grade 2 cards for Intercepts). Refer to the "Brachio" cards section above for example tips.

   - (VC): If Raptor Captain (G2) is in your Soul, this unit gets +1,000 Power.

Counter Blasts

Transport Dragon, Brachioporter (G1)Citadel Dragon, Brachiocastle (G3)Military Dragon, Raptor Colonel (G3)
   - Transport Dragon, Brachioporter (G1) = When this unit is retired during your turn, CB1 to call a Carrier Dragon, Brachiocarrier (G2) from your deck.
   - Citadel Dragon, Brachiocastle (G3) = When this unit is retired during your turn, CB1 to call a Transport Dragon, Brachioporter (G1) from your deck.
   - Military Dragon, Raptor Colonel (G3) = (VC): LB4 When this unit attacks, CB1 & retire 2 rear-guards to increase this unit's Power until end of battle.

   - NOTE: Also consider other card effects that requires Counter Blasts if needed.
