Vanguard ZERO: Narukami Dungaree Deck Build and Guide

Here's a quick guide and tips for Narukami Demon Dragon Dungaree Deck users in the RPG mobile card game Vanguard ZERO. Available for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).

Dungaree does not make use of the cards in the Bind Zone this time, but instead powers up based on the number of cards in the Bind Zone! Plus, it gets 1 Critical when you retire a rear-guard in your opponent's front row. If you need any cards in the Bind Zone, just use the skill of Dan Dan to add it to your hand!

Narukami Battle Strategies

Mulligan (Starting Cards)

   - Any Grade 1 Card (G1) = Keep x1 or x2, to ensure a Grade 1 Vanguard and to avoid riding Rising Phoenix (G1).
   - Any Grade 2 Card (G2) = Keep x1 or x2, to ensure a Grade 2 Vanguard.
   - Sealed Demon Dragon, Dungaree (G3) = Keep x1 (top priority!) to ensure a Grade 3 Vanguard.

   - Demon Conquering Dragon, Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3) = Keep x1 (optional), if you didn't get Sealed Demon Dragon, Dungaree (G3).
   - Sentinel Card (G1) = Keep at least x1.

Basic Battle Strategies

   - Focus on using Dan Dan (FV), combo with your "Dungaree" cards (works when placed as Vanguard or rear-guard) to add cards to your Bind Zone.
   - If needed, you may also swap your FV to get key cards from your Bind Zone like Sentinel Cards (PG), a "Dungeree" card, or an Intercept card for example.

   - Place Desert Gunner, Shiden (G2) and/or Desert Gunner, Raien (G1) to disable your opponent's Grade 2 Intercept ability (useful to help you land more Damage).
   - Use them as well when using Djinn of the Lightning Flash (G3), to open up a clear path to the Vanguard since it can't attack rear guards.

   - TIP: Try to limit Djinn of the Lightning Flash (G3) or Djinn of the Lightning Flare (G2) to 1 in play, especially when your opponent can place 2 Intercepts, to avoid mistakes, unless you can disable or retire at least 1 of their 2 Intercepts. This is also where you can use your "Dungeree's" Limit Break skills.

   - Riding Dungaree (G3) > Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3) is highly recommended to add more cards to the Bind Zone and to get Cross Ride numbers. In case your Dan Dan (FV) got sniped, doing this method is your best chance to easily activate the Critical bonus of your Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3).

   - In case of a miss-ride, you can ride straight to Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3), just place another "Dungaree" card as rear-guard to activate your Dan Dan's (FV) skill, then use it's Limit Break skill to add a total of 3 cards to the Bind Zone.

   - TIP: Re-riding back to Dungaree (G3) is also ok especially when you have only 1 CB left available and need to retire an Intercept card to do more attacks and win!
   - Since you'll be doing retires, use Dragon Dancer, Stormy (G1) to help buff up your columns!

How To Use Sealed Demon Dragon, Dungaree (G3)

Dungaree G3
   - (VC): When placed, Bind 2 cards from the top of your deck.
   - This is what we need as preparation for our Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3) Vanguard.

   - (VC): LB4 (1/Turn), CB1 and put a random card from your Bind Zone on the bottom of your deck to retire 1 of your opponent's front row rear-guards.

   - If you want to use this skill, make sure that your Dan Dan (FV) is still in play and limit only to 1 skill use to at least get 3 cards in the Bind Zone once you ride Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3).

   - In case you need to use this skill more than once, one way to keep the number of cards in the Bind Zone (to at least 2) is to place another Dungaree (G3) card as rear-guard to activate your Dan Dan's (FV) skill. Riding another Dungaree (G3) to place more cards to the Bind Zone is also a decent alternative if you have multiple copies in hand (optional).

How To Use Demon Conquering Dragon, Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3)

Demon Conquering Dragon, Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3)
   - (VC): LB4 (1/Turn), CB2 and Bind a card face up from the top of your deck to retire 1 of your opponent's front row rear-guards. Then if you have 3 or more cards in your Bind Zone, it gets Critical+1 until end of turn.

   - Retire an Intercept card and gain a Critical, that's really good and very helpful for catching up even if you have way more Damage than your opponent!

   - (VC): During your turn, this unit gets +2,000 Power for each of your bound cards.
   - Riding Dungaree (G3) > Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3) while Dan Dan (FV) is in play would let you place 4 cards in the Bind Zone (+8,000 Power). Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3) would be able to reach 21,000 Power with Cross Ride numbers.
   - Increase more if you like to reach higher numbers and go over "Defensive Triggers".

   - (VC): Cross Ride If Sealed Demon Dragon, Dungaree (G3) is in your Soul, this unit gets +2,000 Power.
   - A 13,000 base Power Vanguard would force your opponent to adjust their combos to 13k/18k/23k.

Counter Blasts

Dungaree G3Demon Conquering Dragon, Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3)
   - Sealed Demon Dragon, Dungaree (G3) = LB4 (1/Turn), CB1 and put a random card from your Bind Zone on the bottom of your deck to retire 1 of your opponent's front row rear-guards.
   - Demon Conquering Dragon, Dungaree "Unlimited" (G3) = LB4 (1/Turn), CB2 and Bind a card face up from the top of your deck to retire 1 of your opponent's front row rear-guards. Then if you have 3 or more cards in your Bind Zone, it gets Critical+1 until end of turn.

   - Note: Also consider other card effects that requires Counter Blasts if needed.

Soul Blasts

Rising Phoenix G1
   - Rising Phoenix (G1) = When placed, SB2 to draw a card. It is possible to get up to 4 cards in Soul by using your FV's skill. Just be careful not to disable Cross Ride bonuses unless needed (if you have more than 1 card).
