Here's a quick guide and tips for Gold Paladin Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel Deck users in the RPG mobile card game Vanguard ZERO. Available for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).

Ultimate Break is the absolute power which goes beyond limits! Ezel gives all allies a power boost, and adds 1 Critical to himself. Besides attacking with high power, use the stand trigger or even Viviane's skill to rain damage on your opponent!

Notable Info

   - Crit Vanguard = Can do 2 or more damage per attack.
   - Cross Ride Vanguard = Permanent +2000 Power when condition is met.
   - Field Control = Can retire units controlled by the opponent.
   - Higher Trigger Chance = Getting non-Trigger cards and/or adding Trigger cards can increase your chance to get more Triggers!
   - Superior Ride = Chance to ride a Grade 3 card earlier than usual.

Crimson Lion Cub, Kyrph FVHalo Shield, Mark PGHalo Liberator, Mark (G1)
   - Crimson Lion Cub, Kyrph (FV) = Used to perform a Superior Ride (ride Blond Ezel (G3) from deck). You can also save a CB by using this FV.
   - Halo Shield, Mark (G1) and/or Halo Liberator, Mark (G1) = Add x4.

   - Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel (G3) = Add x4, one of your main Vanguard for this build.

   - Knight of Elegant Skills, Gareth (G1) = Add x4, nice base Power and Defense, needed for your FV's skill.
   - Knight of Superior Skills, Beaumains (G2) = Add x4, nice base Power and Defense, needed for FV's skill.

Suggested Cards To Add (Budget Cards)

Grade 1 Cards

   - Disciple of Pain (G1) = Add x4. Mainly used to add damage to your Damage Zone (aka "Self Damage") to activate Limit Breaks earlier than usual.
   - Listener of Truth, Dindrane (G1) = Limit to x1. When placed from deck, SB1 to draw a card.
   - Precipice Whirlwind, Sagramore (G1) = Limit to x1, used to filter cards and hand to try and draw key cards like Sentinel Cards (PG).

Grade 2 Cards

   - Blaster Blade Spirit (G2) = Add x4 (Royal Paladin card). When placed from your deck, CB1 to retire 1 of your opponent's grade 2 or greater front row rear-guards.
   - Blaster Dark Spirit (G2) = Limit to x1~x2 (Shadow Paladin card). When placed from your deck, CB1 to retire 1 of your opponent's grade 2 or less front row rear-guards.
   - Mage of Calamity, Tripp (G2) = Add x2~x4. When attack hits a Vanguard, CC1 to use more CBs.
   - Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus (G2) = Add x2~x4, can reach 12,000 Power if you have an "Ezel" Vanguard.
   - Master of Pain (G2) = Limit to x1~x2. Mainly used to add damage to your Damage Zone (aka "Self Damage") to activate Limit Breaks earlier than usual, add if you like to use.

Grade 3 Cards

   - Gigantech Destroyer (G3) = Add up to x4, can reach 12,000 Power when attacking a Vanguard.
   - Holy Mage, Manawydan (G3) = Add up to x4, can easily reach 13,000 Power.
   - Holy Edge Knight (G3) = Add up to x4, can reach 12,000 Power when attacking a Vanguard.

   - NOTE: Feel free to try other cards not listed here, and add any Grade 3 cards you have available, just make sure to follow the recommended Trigger Set below.

RRR and Other Cards (If Available)

   - White Hare in the Moon's Shadow, Pellinore (G3) = Add up to x4, possible sub Vanguard for this build.

   - NOTE: Feel free to try other cards not listed here, and add any Grade 3 cards you have available, just make sure to follow the recommended Trigger Set below.

For Non Rank Fight Battles

   - NOTE: Feel free to experiment with other Trigger Sets according to your preference. Add more Critical Triggers and/or Stand Triggers if you want to use this deck for certain events, like non Rank Fights that would require you to finish the battle asap.

Gold Paladin Battle Strategies

Mulligan (Starting Cards)

   - Knight of Elegant Skills, Gareth (G1) = Keep x1, needed to activate your FV's skill. Avoid riding if possible though, so keep another Grade 1 card as your Grade 1 Vanguard.
   - Knight of Superior Skills, Beaumains (G2) = Keep x1 to ensure a Grade 2 Vanguard. Also needed to activate your FV's skill.
   - Blond Ezel (G3) = Keep x1 to ensure a Grade 3 Vanguard, unless you have the required cards above.

   - Sentinel Card (G1) = Keep x1, or x0 if you are aiming to activate your FV's skill.

Basic Battle Strategies

   - You aim for this build is to call units from hand and deck to increase your field presence, column's Power, defense, and trigger chance!

   - Crimson Lion Cub, Kyrph (FV) = If your Vanguard is Beaumains (G2), put this unit and a Gareth (G1) into your Soul, to ride Blond Ezel (G3) from your deck, and draw a card.
   - Try to do a Superior Ride early on by using your FV's skill, follow the Mulligan suggestions above to increase your chances. Be careful when dealing with decks that can retire your FV, deny them Damage if needed (if you have the required cards in hand).

How To Use Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel (G3)

   - Your main Vanguard, can also be used as rear guard with 11,000 base Power.
   - (VC): During your turn, this unit gets +1,000 Power for each of your rear guards. Can reach 15,000 Power with 4 rear guards for example, so you just need a 6,000~8,000 Booster to reach 21,000~23,000 Power.

   - (VC): LB4 (when you have 4 or more Damage in your Damage Zone), CB1 to look at 4 cards from the top of your deck, and call a card from among them. Increase this unit's Power by the original Power of the unit called with this effect until end of turn.
   - This skill can easily overcome defensive Triggers, giving you higher chance to deal 2 or 3 Damage for that turn.

   - TIP: If possible, choose non-Trigger cards to thin out your deck and increase your Trigger Chance! Go for Grade 2 cards like Blaster Blade Spirit (G2) or Blaster Dark Spirit (G2) to also help you retire 1 of your opponent's Intercepts cards!

   - In case of a missride, ride any of your sub Vanguards for now.

How To Use Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel (G3)

Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel (G3)
   - (VC): LB5 (1/Turn), CB1 and until end of turn, all of your rear-guards get +5,000 Power, and this unit gets Critical +1 until end of turn.
   - Great finisher (when opponent's Damage is 4 or 5, and you only have 1 CB left), just make sure that you have Boosters in play and cards in hand to use as front row rear-guards to easily overcome "defensive Triggers". Works great with Stand Triggers, to try and attack more than 3 times in 1 turn.

   - (VC): Cross Ride If Blond Ezel (G3) is in your Soul, this unit gets +2,000 Power.
   - (VC): If this unit is Cross Riding, its LB5 becomes LB4.
   - A 13,000 base Power Vanguard would force your opponent to adjust their combos to 13k/18k/23k.

How To Use White Hare in the Moon's Shadow, Pellinore (G3)

   - Possible alternative sub Vanguard, also used as a rear guard with 11,000 base Power.

   - (VC): LB4 When this unit attacks, put 1 of your rear guards to the bottom of your deck to have 2 of your units get +5,000 Power until end of turn.
   - Useful if you don't have any CBs left to use during the later part of the battle. Setup 3 attacks then use his skill to help you break through their Sentinel Cards (PG).
   - TIP: You can place Trigger cards then use this skill to return it back to your deck (use Ezel (G3) to shuffle your deck if needed).

   - (RC): When this unit is placed from deck to a rear guard circle, if your opponent's Vanguard is Grade 2 or greater, put this unit on Vanguard circle as stand (gets +5,000 Power and Critical +1 until end of turn).
   - Only use this skill if needed, depending on the situation.

Counter Blasts

   - Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel (G3) = LB5 (1/Turn), CB1 and until end of turn, all of your rear-guards get +5,000 Power, and this unit gets Critical +1 until end of turn.
   - Blaster Blade Spirit (G2) = When placed from your deck, CB1 to retire 1 of your opponent's grade 2 or greater front row rear-guards.
   - Blaster Dark Spirit (G2) = When placed from your deck, CB1 to retire 1 of your opponent's grade 2 or less front row rear-guards.

   - Note: Also consider other card effects that requires Counter Blasts if needed.
