Here's a quick guide and tips for Great Nature Battler of the Twin Brush, Polaris Deck users in the RPG mobile card game Vanguard ZERO. Available for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).
It is considerably easier to attack repeatedly by increasing Polari's power and standing the rear-guards. use units like Vocal Chicken, and call other units which can boost or intercept after they are retired. Basic Battle Strategies
- This deck build will focus on re-enforcing columns to increase Power while activating certain skills to generate a good draw source. Managing resources is the real challenge here depending on the cards you have in hand and the current situation.- TIP: Plan ahead before dropping cards to the field and using skills to avoid misplays.
- Early on, use your "Tiger" cards' skill effects to target "Hammsuke" cards to draw cards. Use them to attack as well if possible since they got buffed up.
- Also use your FV and Coiling Duckbill (G1) to help draw more cards (target "Hammsuke" cards for example, then use any card effect (use "Tiger" cards) that would retire them during your End Phase.
- Drawing cards is great early on but don't overdo it though, make sure you have room in hand in case you get Draw Triggers for example.
- You can ride Leo-pald (G3) first and use it's skill to help retire your rear-guards when needed, then re-ride Polaris (G3) later on. Riding straight to Polaris (G3) and using Leo-pald (G3) as a rear guard for combos is also good.
How To Use Battler of the Twin Brush, Polaris (G3)
- (VC): LB4 When this unit attacks a Vanguard, CB1 to stand 1 of your rear-guards, and that unit gets +4,000 Power until end of turn. At the end of that turn, retire that unit.
- Use this to do multi attacks with buffed up columns! Good finisher as well especially when your opponent got 1 life left.
- Target Grade 3 or Grade 1 cards (front), avoid using it to your Grade 2 or Booster cards unless needed (like during a potential final turn event, or when you need to retire a specific card to activate effects).
- TIP: Similar to "Tiger" cards, this skill works really great with Vocal Chicken (G3) to call an intercept card from your deck!
- (VC): When this unit attacks a Vanguard, it gets +3,000 Power until end of battle.
How To Use School Hunter, Leo-pald (G3)
- (VC): LB4 (when you have 4 or more Damage in your Damage Zone), CB1 to have 1 of your rear-guards get the following ability until end of turn (" (RC): When this unit is retired during your end phase, call this card to the same RC.").
- This is useful to retain your units, especially Intercepts, in-case you don't have other viable targets for your buff+retire skills.
- TIP: Do not use this skill to your Compass Lion (G2), skill would still take effect.
- (VC/RC): When it attacks, you may have 1 of your other rear-guards get +4,000 Power until end of turn. At the end of that turn, retire that unit.
- Nice rear-guard skill to buff up columns, easy to activate as well even if it ain't going to hit.
Counter Blasts
- Battler of the Twin Brush, Polaris (G3) = LB4 When this unit attacks a Vanguard, CB1 to stand 1 of your rear-guards, and that unit gets +4,000 Power until end of turn. At the end of that turn, retire that unit.
- Vocal Chicken (G3) = Add x4, When this unit is retired during your End Phase, CB1 to call a Melodica Cat (G2) from your deck.
- School Hunter, Leo-pald (G3) = LB4 and CB1 to retain a card. Use only when needed.
- Lamp Camel (G2) = When attack hits, CB2 to draw a card. Good during the early part of the battle in case you can get Heal Triggers to recover Counter Blasts.
- Note: Also consider other card effects that requires Counter Blasts if needed.
- 7,000 Booster (G1) + Polaris (G3) = 21,000 total Power (when attacking a Vanguard).
- NOTE: Other cards not included here are also OK to use but some are very situational or unsustainable, use them if you like. Also adjust the numbers above depending on your Booster's Power.
