Here's a quick guide and tips on how to Craft Skills using Skill Shards and Combinations or Recipes to learn new skills in the RPG mobile game app - Yokai: Spirits Hunt.
To start crafting skill, open your main character's "Skills" screen, and select the "Skill Craft" option. Also refer below to learn how to Enhance Skills.

How To Enhance Skills
Enhancing Default Skills
- Buy "Skill Book (Skill +1)" items from the Shop to enhance your character's default skills. Recommended for SSR characters.- Devouring copies (must be the same exact name) can randomly upgrade 1 default skill. Example, if your main SR Yasha devours another SR Yasha (regardless of tier or Lvl), one of her default skills will be upgraded. Recommended for SR or R Yokai since they are easier to get from Summons.
Enhancing Crafted Skills
- For skills that can be learned, it's better to just farm and craft more copies.Skill Crafting
Requirements
Yokai Requirements
- Evolve your character until you are able to unlock a free skill slot.Skill Crafting Requirements
- Scroll Fragments, Chapter Pieces, and some Coins.- Need to craft 20 pieces to complete and learn a skill.
Why Do I Always Fail When Crafting?
- That is because you need to follow the correct combinations of Skill Shards, or else it will fail.- If you see a "???Unknown Skill" after selecting 3 Skill Shards, that means the combination you currently have is wrong. DO NOT craft or else, you'll lose all Skill Shards!
- Failed crafting attempts will be compensated with 1 Yokai Soul.
Skill Crafting Combinations (Farmable)
- There are 2 types of Passive skills: "Passive" that gives permanent bonus stat or skill effect, and the other one is a "When Crit" that requires your attacks to do Critical Hits to active the skill effect.
- Skill shard sources that are farmable.
- Boss and Minor Demons: Drops Chapter Pieces [Hard Mode].
- Break Pots: Scroll Fragments [Hard Mode], and Chapter Pieces [Hard Mode].
