Battle Legion: Mass-Battler puts you in shoes of an aspiring Commander, and as you rank up through unforgettable victories, so does your legion!

Battle Legion: Beginner's Tips, Build, and Walkthrough Guide

Your Aim for the Game

Reach New Milestones and Increase Rank

   - Form an army, win battles and reach higher ranks to unlock New Units, increase the Field Size, Army Points, and Wagon Rank.

Complete Quests

   - To gain quick Gold for upgrading units early game. Complete them as you go to get more freebies like Gems and Gold.

Battle Legion Tips and Guide:

How To Create a New Game?

   - If you want to restart, go to Settings > Change Account > New Profile.

   - Use this feature to play multiple accounts if you like.

   - Make sure to connect your Google Play or Facebook account to backup your progress and Player Profiles.

Army Points, Formations and Trophies

Battle Legion: Army Points and Formations

Army Points and Formations

   - Maximize Army Points depending on your current Rank and available units. Try to find the best units and army formation to help you get higher win rates (aim for 50%+ to rank faster).

   - Common Units = 1 Army Point

   - Rare Units = 2 Army Points

   - Mythic Units = 3 Army Points

   - Positioning is important in this game, moving them forward would let them engage the enemy faster, moving them backward would delay their movement, adjust according to your strategy.

   - Also consider placing 2 units with good synergy close to each other, like ranged/melee units + their support units.

Trophies

   - You gain trophies if you win battles, and lose some if your army got defeated. Reach higher Ranks to lock in your Trophies.

   - TIPDraw = In case you are in a battle where non attacking units are the only ones left, DO NOT Surrender! Just let the time expire to get a Draw, this way you won't lose Trophies.

Seasons and Season Paths

   - Each victory earns you XP, pushing you closer to the next reward! Gather Bonus XP to increase the amount you earn from every victory. Collect Bonus XP from camp every day to boost your Season Path progression.
   - Try to claim all milestone rewards before the end of the Season.
   - Season Pass = Buy from Shop to get Premium Rewards for that current Season.

Powerstones

Battle Legion Powerstones

   - Powerstone TypesDefensive, Offensive, Range, Movement, and Ability Types, use them depending on your unit's available slots (requires Lvl 4 to unlock). Here's some examples:

   - Offensive = Increase attack potency by x% (good for any unit).

   - Offensive = First attack deals 100% more damage (good for units with high damage per attack).

   - Offensive = Instakill if below x% HP (good for fast hitting units).

   - Offensive = Berserk, attack increased when below x% HP (good for tanky units).

   - Defensive = Diminishes all damage taken by x% (good for any unit).

   - Defensive = Avoid 1 attack damage every x seconds (good for ranged units that rarely gets hit).

   - Defensive = Status Effect nullified/get buff when debuffed (good for any unit but check first their existing "Immunities" below their names before using).

   - Ability = Ability Potency+ (good for support units that doesn't attack like Barrier Monk).

   - Movement = Increases/Reduces Movement Speed (good for certain units, depending on your strategy).

   - Movement = Heal unit while moving (good for units that moves a lot like melee units).

   - Range = Range+ (good for mid ranged or any ranged units).

   - Range = x% chance to double damage on attack (good for fast hitting units, and healers).

   - Range = Chance to instantly CD attack (good for slow attackers).

   - Note that there are more kinds of Powerstones available every new Season, check how you can maximize their effects to increase the overall performance of your units and army.

How To Get Free Powerstones?

   - Free Powerstones can be obtained mainly from Season Path rewards (just keep winning battles to get XP).

   - Equipped Powerstones are permanent, you can replace them but the item won't go back to your inventory.

   - Note that Powerstones only lasts until the end of the Season, new sets will appear every Season.

Create or Join a Clan!

Battle Legion Clans

   - Join clans with a good number of players early on or wait till you can reach higher trophies (1,000~1,400 Trophies) to join better clans.
   - Check the Clan Info section to check if the guild is active enough (especially the Leaders and Elders), even better if most players got way higher trophies than you and are also donating.

Donate and Request

   - You can only request Common and Rare units (must be unlocked first). Mythic units are only available during Sundays (first request of every Sunday).

   - Donate if you have excess units that you don't need, best if the player is also online/active (check Clan Info). If possible, also donate to players who donates units to you, to create a good stream of free units.

   - Donating would net you some Gold (50 Gold for Rare and 5 Gold for Common units). 1250 Gold for Mythic units (available during Sundays).

More Battle Legion Tips

Best Ways to Spend Gems

   - Wagons > Dragon Wagon (5950 Gems) = Contains Guaranteed Mythic units that are harder to obtain or collect. This might be tough for F2P players though.

   - Gold (50 Gems for 1,000 Gold or 500 Gems for 11,000 Gold) = Available from the Shop > Resources > Gold. Good alternative but make sure to use it to upgrade key units that you'll use for most battles.

   - Earn Gems from Quests, Season Path rewards, Watching Video Ads, Royal Shipment (random), or purchase from Shop (optional).

How To Get More Gold?

   - Earn from Battles, Quests, Daily Gold Storage, Watching Video AdsRoyal Shipment (random)  Season Path rewards, and Wagons (farm Victory Points by winning battles to unlock more Wagons). Can also be purchased from Shop (optional).

   - Donating units to your clan mates would net you some Gold (50 Gold for Rare and 5 Gold for Common units).

   - TIP: If you want to earn Gold, request any Rare units then donate them back later on. If you can find other players that does the same, it would be easier! Common units are also ok if you don't need them.

   - NOTE: Gold, combined with Unit Shards, will upgrade the powerfulness of your units. Keep playing and remember to upgrade whenever you have Shards and Gold (prioritize key units to conserve Gold).

Royal Shipment

Battle Legion: Royal Shipment

   - Use the "Auto Spin" feature or just do battles for a chance to encounter the Royal Shipment.

   - You can obtain free items here like Gold and Gems if you are lucky enough (some items aren't free).

Rise of Civilizations: Beginner's Quick Tips

Choosing Your Civilization or Faction

   - Any civilization can be effective depending on your playing style and if done right. Here are some tips that you might want to consider when choosing a civilization to play with. Note that these are just my opinion and is limited only to the ones available during this review.
Rise of Civilizations Germany

Germany

   - This is my personal favorite because it is cavalry based with fantastic bonuses for your cavalry units. Overall it's a powerhouse faction because of it's faster troops training and increased Action Point regeneration, allowing you to fight (faster XP) and/or farm (faster resource gathering) much better early on.
   - Germany's Commander Hermann is kinda lacking though but still usable early game.

Rome

   - Rome is a great choice if you like playing with infantries. Overall, bonuses are mainly focused on your infantries' defense, marching speed, and more.
   - Rome's Commander Scipio is also a great unit for attacker type infantries with defense and speed bonuses.

Japan

   - Japan is also a great choice that  can increase all of your troops' attack, a good buff for all around use. Abuse your scout's increased marching speed to map out the world a lot faster early on while gathering some freebies.
   - Their increased troops training capacity is also a nice touch for casual players that doesn't have enough time to login and play.
   - Japan's Commander Kusunoki is a decent unit to start with.

Britain

   - Britain is nice choice for players that prefers an archer based civilization, bonuses are focused on archers which is good, but there are some not so useful bonuses like wood gathering speed and 20% increased ally garrison capacity though.
   - Britain's Commander Boudicca is a decent unit and also a great jungler (good at dealing with Barbarians).

China

   - China is also a nice choice, a civilization that focuses on almost everything, like a jack of all trades. It's increased building speed is a great buff that could help you progress faster, while its Defense buff can reinforce your troops to survive longer.
   - China's commander Sun Tzu is an awesome unit for early game, would highly recommend focusing on infantries with him.

France, Spain, and Korea

   - I haven't tried them personally but based on observations and comments from experienced players, these 3 are the least popular civilizations because of their limited bonuses.
   - Still playable though as long that you know what you are doing, but for beginners, I would recommend the above civilizations instead.

Commanders and Their Roles

   - Commanders can be used for gathering resources, fighting, or for defense mode. You can check your commander's passive attributes (Leader, Support, Gatherer and more), together with their active or passive skills, to give you an idea on how to use them effectively.
Rise of Civilizations Second Commander
(Example Second Commander with Support Attribute)

How To Unlock Your Second Commander

   - The commander's number of Stars determines his or her maximum level and skills that can be unlocked.
   - Once you reach Lvl 20 and upgrade your Commander to 3-Stars, you can unlock a Support Slot (set it up while setting up new troops, check the new slot next to your commander), where a second commander can be selected to aid your leading commander in battle.
   - Note: Your second commander's Talents will not affect your army, so it's better to only focus on their Skills instead.

Forge of Empires: Beginner's Tips and How to Play on PC with Bluestacks

Forge of Empires
   - It's a free to play city building strategy game, based on their successful award winning browser based game Forge of Empires. Finally, the online strategy game is now also available for Android and iOS users as well, providing cross-platform access!

   - Forge of Empires will let you build your own city and experience all of world's history from its perspective ~ from the stone age on through the centuries. Explore new and groundbreaking technologies as your progress through the game, and increase your empire with sophisticated strategic campaigns and skilled actions. Set forth and Forge your Empire!
Forge of Empires: Beginner's Tips and How to Play on PC with Bluestacks

Forge of Empires: The Aim of The Game

   - The road to success lies in the wise use of your resources, and finding the right balance between revenue and expenditures will enable you to efficiently unlock and use new technologies. Guide and improve your city further, follow the path to fame and glory!

Forge of Empires: The Ages or Eras

   - You start off as the leader of a small tribe in the Stone Age, and will travel through the Bronze Age, Iron Age, the various phases of the Middle Ages, Colonial Age and Industrial Age. Then you can move into more recent times with the Progressive Era, Modern Era, Post-Modern Era and Contemporary Era.

How To Unlock the Next Age?

   - You can unlock the next age by researching a break though technology of that period in your research tree. Note that every Research requires a number of Forge Points to unlock.
   - Once you enter into the next age, you will receive a new Main Building and your old one will automatically be replaced. Upon entry into a new age, you will also receive a few new buildings that you can build right away.

Forge of Empires: Beginner's Quick Tips

How To Exit the Tavern?

   - This is probably the most common mini-hindrance that you will encounter as a beginner, because once the Tutorial throws you to the Tavern, you might be thinking that you can't exit because the "Back" button is missing.
   - We'll you can't find any, because The Tavern ("your current  view") is located at the north west area of your city, just navigate your screen to locate and go back to your city.
Forge of Empires Managing Your City and Buildings

Managing Your City and Buildings

   - You can move your buildings, town halls, decorations, and roads wherever you want.
   - All buildings (except Decorations) need to be connected with your roads to function, and all roads must be connected to your Town Hall. Manage your buildings and build roads as less as possible.
   - You can sell older buildings as you progress through the game, so that they won't take up space in your city.

Sell Your Decorations!

   - Once you unlock the Stone Circle, try to have cultural buildings instead of decorations (sell them). The main reason is because when people will aid them, you'll get a lot more overall boost. Plus, it's better to get your other buildings motivated if more people will aid your city, rather than your trees (by default) for example, which is not ideal.

Best Way to Use Diamonds?

   - The best way is to use them only for purchasing Diamond Expansions, especially for F2P players.
   - Optional Method: It is also possible to use some of them for purchasing the last piece of Blueprint that you need, but only if you have enough Diamonds to spare though.

Contribute and Build Great Buildings

Recommended Great Buildings to Aim For?

   - Some Great Buildings are really nice to have, I would recommend aiming for St. Mark's and the Lighthouse.
   - To learn more about Great Buildings, check it's tab in-game under the Build function.
Forge of Empires Contribute and Build Great Buildings

Aiding and Contributing Forge Points

   - Aiding all your friends, neighbors, and guild mates helps you get Blueprints for building Great Buildings. It's random though and kinda rare, but keep going.

   - Aside from aiding them, also visit their Taverns every day. To attract more visitors, unlock and buy at least the Table Cloth with Tavern Silvers.

   - Once you can contribute Forge Points to your friends, neighbors, and guildmates, you might want to slow down in the tech tree and start contributing to their Great Buildings to get more Blueprints and other rewards instead.
   - Note: Never spend the last point on someone else's Great Building.

   - Don't rush in advancing the tech tree, and use this opportunity instead to build up extra Supplies and Coins for future use.

Add Active Friends and Be Active

   - Try to get a lot of active players in your friend list.
   - In your neighborhood, send friend requests to people who are active, including those who are attacking your city.
   - Unfriend other players that are no longer active if you want.
   - Side Note: Set some troops to be in your defensive army, because if you don't, you're more likely to get plundered. Also, reap your Supplies and Coins as soon as they become available.

How to Spot Active Players

   - If you find some players who are contributing in other player's great buildings, send them friend requests, because they might invest in your great buildings too!
   - Active players usually are High Rankers, have Great Buildings, and developed Taverns.

Join A Guild!

   - Try to find a good guild and swap Forge Points with each other, this way it would be easier to earn Blueprints and advance through the game.
   - Joining a guild and participating in guild expeditions would also allow you to minimize your city's military buildings, because you can also accumulate an army from expeditions. This method will save you a lot of space and resources. Recommended  military building to still keep are Rogue Hideouts.
