Vanguard ZERO: Oracle Think Tank Amaterasu Deck Build and Guide

Here's a quick guide and tips for Oracle Think Tank Amaterasu Deck users in the RPG mobile card game Vanguard ZERO. Available for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).

Amaterasu can add a card from deck to hand with it's skill. Add a Sentinel to strengthen your defenses, or Tom to deal that decisive 6th damage to your opponent! Advice: use other card's abilities to shuffle your triggers at the bottom of the deck.

Trigger Sets

Rank Fight Trigger Set

   - Critical Trigger (x0), Draw Trigger (x5), Stand Trigger (x4), and Heal Trigger (x4)
   - Refer to the build above (screenshot) for example Triggers Set for specific cards. Reduce and balance Draw Triggers if you are getting "Deck Outs".

For Non Rank Fight Battles

   - NOTE: Feel free to experiment with other Trigger Sets according to your preference. Add more Critical Triggers and/or Stand Triggers if you want to use this deck for certain events, like non Rank Fights that would require you to finish the battle asap.

Oracle Think Tank Battle Strategies

Mulligan (Starting Cards)

   - Any Grade 1 Card = Keep x1 or x2 to ensure a Grade 1 Vanguard.
   - Any Grade 2 Card = Keep x1 or x2 to ensure a Grade 2 Vanguard.
   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = Keep x1 to ensure a Grade 3 ride.

   - Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3) = Keep x1 if you did not get CEO Amaterasu (G3) above.
   - Battle Sister, Chocolat (G1) = Keep at least x1.

Basic Battle Strategies

   - Just ride your Grade 1 and 2 vanilla cards to keep your defense high.
   - When using Lozenge Magus (FV) to Boost, make sure that you have enough space in hand for another card. This unit is your 5th Heal Trigger once it goes back to deck, so watch out when you are up against decks that can retire her.

   - You can also try setting up 2 Damage early on by using Battle Sister, Cocoa (G1) + Trigger buffs if possible.

   - Ride CEO Amaterasu (G3) to increase your Trigger Chance, then ride Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3) once you are able to use her Limit Break skill (also to activate Cross Ride numbers).
   - In case of a miss-ride, go and ride any viable Grade 3 cards then try to re-ride with CEO Amaterasu (G3) later on.

How To Use CEO Amaterasu (G3)

   - (VC): During your turn, if your hand has 2 or more cards, this unit gets +4,000 Power.
   - This unit can reach 14,000 Power, so using an 8,000 Booster would help her reach 22,000 Power.

   - (VC): At the start of your main phase, Soul Charge 1, look at the top card of your deck, and put it on the top or the bottom of your deck.
   - Plan and setup your columns depending on the Trigger (if available) placed on top of your deck.
   - Using this skill would simply increase your Trigger Chance (same if you have Battle Sister, Cocoa (G1) cards).

   - (VC/RC): When this unit's attack hits, Soul Blast 6 and CB4 to draw 5 cards.
   - This skill is on hit, so it is only available if your opponent's Damage is 4 or less, unless you are going to attack a rear-guard. Only use this skill if needed, depending on the situation, works well with Oracle Guardian, Red Eye (G2) if you want to focus on using this skill.

How To Use Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3)

Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3)OTT PGSilent Tom G2Gentle Jimm G3
   - (VC): LB4 When this unit attacks a Vanguard, CB2 to add a card from your deck to your hand.
   - Here are some candidates to get from deck when using this skill:

   - Sentinel Card (PG) = Excellent choice, especially when you have Silent Tom (G2) in hand.

   - Silent Tom (G2) = Great finisher move. Aim for 5 Damage then use Silent Tom (G2) to close battles (hope your opponent won't draw a Heal Trigger though). In case your opponent's Damage is 4, it is possible to setup Silent Tom (G2) as your 2nd attacker, but it's a bit risky and requires that you have a decent Booster or maybe rely on Trigger bonuses.

   - Gentle Jimm (G3) = You can also use this unit to boost Silent Tom (G2) with +3,000 Power. Example, if you have a 6,000~8,000 Booster + Tom (G2), this unit can reach 17,000~19,000 Power with buff (also enough to initiate a 2nd attack as long as your opponent doesn't get a "defensive Trigger").

   - Any Intercept Card (G2) = Also good if needed.

   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = If you want to place her as rear-guard and use her skill. Also if you have White Hare of Inaba (G1) in hand, and want to activate Cross Ride numbers (optional).
   - White Hare of Inaba (G1) = If you want to place CEO Amaterasu (G3) to your Soul to activate Cross Ride numbers (optional).

    - NOTE: Limit Break skills can be used earlier than usual by using self damaging cards like Battle Sister, Candy (G1) or Battle Sister, Caramel (G2). These cards can also be used to increase your success chance to Heal, if you pulled a Heal Trigger.

   - (VC): During your turn, if your hand has 2 or more cards, this unit gets +2,000 Power.
   - With Cross Ride numbers, Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3) unit can reach 15,000 Power, you just need a 6,000~8,000 Booster to reach 21,000~23,000 Power.

   - (VC): Cross Ride If CEO Amaterasu (G3) is in your Soul, this unit gets +2,000 Power.
   - A 13,000 base Power Vanguard would force your opponent to adjust their combos to 13k/18k/23k.

Counter Blasts

Maiden of Libra G2Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3)
   - Maiden of Libra (G2) = When this unit's attack hits, CB2 to draw a card. Nice CB user early on, then try to recover used CBs with Heal Triggers.
   - Goddess of the Sun, Amaterasu (G3) = LB4 When this unit attacks a Vanguard, CB2 to add a card from your deck to your hand. Focus most of your CBs here.
   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = When this unit's attack hits, Soul Blast 6 and CB4 to draw 5 cards. Only use this skill if needed, depending on the situation

   - Note: Also consider other card effects that requires Counter Blasts if needed.

Soul Blasts

Gentle Jimm G3
   - Gentle Jimm (G3) = When this unit attacks, SB1 and discard a card from your hand to have 1 of your other units get +3,000 Power until end of turn.
   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = When this unit's attack hits, Soul Blast 6 and CB4 to draw 5 cards. Only use this skill if needed, depending on the situation
