World of Legends: How To Defeat Amanda World Boss - Kamikaze Build

Here's some tips and strategy guide on how to join and defeat the 3rd World Boss Amanda the Awkward, by contributing huge damages. This is our alternative method to deal huge damages to Amanda.

Each zone has a unique World Boss. Amanda the Awkward appears in Zone 3: Central map. World Bosses spawn up to 6 times daily and last for 45 minutes after spawning (unless killed earlier).

Example Team Builds, Spells, and Gears

Team Builds: Kamikaze DPS Build

Satyrs and Assassins (For 18 Team Slots)

   - Formation 1: Refer to the above pic.
   - Formation 2: 3 Satyrs (Front) and 3 Assassins (Back).

   - You can actually mix around if you like as long that all sidekicks will survive after defeating those 2 minions. Assassins can also be replaced with Boxingtons if you like.
   - Other formations will sometimes result into a wipe out right from the start, weird but it's possible.
   - At higher levels, it would be interesting if we can add more Satyrs.

Spells To Use:

   - Note: Create 2 strategies, before and once the "Speed Time" kicks in, refer below for tips.

(we just need the Haste Spell here, others can be any.)

Before "Speed Time": Spam Haste!

   - Let your Hero eliminate the minion at the right side, or go directly to the boss. When you are about to reach the Boss, start spamming Haste Spells to your Hero and Satyrs to "lock" the Boss with slow effects from your Satyrs and Hero's weapon.

(Satyrs location varies depending on team formation used)

   - Important Note: Always keep your Haste active do not let the red glow disappear!
   - Usually, after your 6th Haste Spell Amanda will start to do her AoE pull and burn skill, but if your timing was off (usually when the game is laggy), she will attack after 3 Haste Spells which is not ideal. However, even if you fail reaching 6 Haste casts, the damage is still decent.
   - If you can "lock" the Boss for longer than 6 Haste Spells, the better! (rarely happens but still looking a way how).

End The Battle!

   - At this point, you already did a huge chunk of damage, but sadly all Satyrs and Assassins will get killed. Next, just continue and spam Haste to your Hero until he dies too, to end the battle.
   - NOTE: The damage per battle for this strategy is lower than other methods, but you can get higher Total Damage to the Boss which is our main focus here.

   - TIP: If you still have high HP after all sidekicks are dead, better adjust your gears and add more Attack Speed and less HP (or use similar gears but with lower HP).

Example Weapons and Gears To Use

DPS Type Kamikaze Build

   - Please Note: The example gear set up below is not the only way to help deal huge damages because there are other similar weapons or gears that can also be used.
   - Note that there are more stronger gears that can be farmed in the future (upcoming maps) as well.
   - Use the below setup as reference for getting stronger gears, good luck!

Weapon: Elgio's Glowsword

   - Dropped by Elgio (Central map).

   - What we need here is it's Trait: (Cold Touch) Attacks slows enemy for a brief period (2 seconds cool-down). Perfect for 1 on 1 matches like Bosses to decrease their DPS, thus more survivability!
   - Works well together with your Satyrs to "lock" the Boss!

Armor: Elgio's Shadow Tunic

   - Dropped by Elgio (Central map).

   - Nice Attack Speed stat which we need to increase DPS.

   - Any armor that gives +20% Attack Speed or more is ok to use, best if it has a Trait that can damage enemies as well.

Helm: Killer Cap

   - Dropped by Killer Khalid (Mountains Map).

   - Again, we need the bonus Attack Speed here to increase DPS, with bonus damage on death.

   - Note: Any helm that gives a +10% Attack Speed or more is ok to use as well, best if it has a Trait that deals damage bonus upon death.

Boots: Sly Sandals, None or Any

   - Yes, remove your Boots to remove any penalties to your move speed (to reach enemies much quicker), and to reduce your HP to let the Boss kill your Hero faster.

   - You may also equip any Boots that gives extra Move Speed if you like, but if you can find a Boots that increases Attack Speed in the game later on, use that.

How Much Damage Can I Do?

   - Now this depends on your Lvl (spell damages depends on Hero Lvl), and overall upgrades (sidekicks and gears).
   - *To Calculate Heros' DPS: Damage/Attack Speed = DPS (under Hero Stats Page).

Using the Setup Above:

   - At around Lvl 20 with Lvl 10 Assassins and Lvl 15 Satyrs, Using Featured Gears above not upgraded (No Gems): Hero 8,000 HP or less (yeah it's better) and around 650 DPS.
   - You can easily do around 90,000~100,000+ damage per battle (just around 40 seconds, not a full fight) vs Amanda.

  - NOTE: The damage per battle for this strategy is lower than other methods, but you can get higher Total Damage to the Boss which is our main focus here.

   - No Gems used here (Hero's 5th slot gear), but would recommend using a Gem with Attack Speed bonus to increase DPS.
