Cloudstone: How to Get Crafting Materials

The crafting materials are one of the important items in Cloudstone - Playsaurus and Nexon's online Action RPG browser based social game. To be able to gain crafted items, you have to seek out NPCs that will give you contracts to complete. Learn more below.

- Contracts (R) -

How to Get or Unlock NPCs and Contracts
     - Get NPCs by completing quests as you go through the game. At higher levels, you will be
able to get higher NPCs that will give you contracts for better equipments!
     - Unlock more contracts by gaining more levels.
     - Unlock more contracts by participating in-game events.
     - Chain Contracts: completing a specific contract will unlock more contracts to complete!

How to Collect Crafting Materials
     - Specific crafting materials can be obtained from specific monsters.
     - Randomly obtained from treasure chests or epic treasure chests. Epic treasure chests are
commonly seen at the very end of every zone you are in.
     - After getting the loots from chests, crafting materials will have a green color text.

Rewards
     - Aside from the item, claiming completed contracts yields more gold and XP.

Tips on Collecting Crafting Materials
     - You don't need to complete all contracts, just choose the item equipments that will
enhance the stats of your character. At early levels, just concentrate on leveling and start collecting crafting materials as you go through the game. It is also best to start claiming item equipments at higher levels or when you hit the level cap to see the best crafted items for your character.

     - Finding specific monsters is really hard and some will not drop what you are expecting!
The best way I found is to just normally play and let the crafting materials come to you by opening treasures anywhere. Concentrate on leveling than collecting, since you can still get any crafting material from treasure chests. Good luck!

     - A good farming zone for XP and treasure chests: Glaciella Island: Village Clearing
     - Only takes a very short time to complete with occasional Epic treasure chests.

explanations of skills. I will no longer explain some details here on why "this or that skill for this skill build" stuff. Happy Playing!

The Build
This build will focus on the Wizard's skill tree while utilizing the Monk's Heal Bomb skill to
compensate the low armor of wizards! With the help of Power Surge, you can spam Heal Bomb to heal yourself anytime. It's like carrying free Health Potions or Rejuvenation Plants with you all the time! One of the best Cloudstone build that I have played.

Main Equipment Stats to look for: (prioritize from left to right) Sorcery > Discipline >
Armor equipment stats to fully enhance your spell damages and Heal amount. Here's an example item with Sorcery, Discipline and Armor stats that you need.
     - Most of them can be obtained by completing gauntlets (replay zones). Check the Shop too!
     - Summon friends to help you get the item you need. It is possible to finish higher zones even
if you are 10 levels below it! Defend missions might be a little tricky to complete though.

     - Equip a Staff or a Wand and save up a Shield for your 1 Hand weapons.

The Stats
     - Go for 60% Sorcery and 40% Discipline. Not necessary to be exact.
     - If you don't have any idea how to do it, refer to the formula below.

     - (Current Sorcery + Current Discipline) x 0.60 = Ideal Number for Sorcery (more or less).

If you want to blow up your enemies up close with Heal Bombs, Power Bursts and Critical hits, with Swords and Shields, or strike monsters from a far with lightning, then you might like this Hybrid Warrior Monk skill build!

What is Good with Criticals?

     - A Critical Hit will deal 200% or twice the original damage!
     - Damage from skills will also have the chance to deal a critical hit!
     - Note: Critical chance will diminish every after leveling up, so it is important to upgrade your
equips! This is not a game bug and this is made to avoid getting 100% critical chance.

The Build

This build will focus on maximizing your Critical chances and Attack Speed. You will still
wear Monk equipments but this time, with Sword and a Shield. You need to wear swords in order to effectively use the Preemptive Strike skill in the warrior skill tree.
The Power gain per hit for this build is a little slower than a Monk with claws, but after
getting Enrage skill and Berserk Skill, Power will not become a problem.

Main Equipment Stats to look for: (prioritize from left to right) Critical Hit Rating >
Discipline > Armor equipment stats to fully enhance your critical chances, skill damages and
survivability. For accessories, look for Critical Hit Rating or Attack Speed stats to maximize your critical chances!

     - Lvl 17: Preemptive Karma 1/5 - (Use only for defense mission zones).

     - Note: Do not get Haste! Berserk is a lot better and it is spammable!

     - Lvl 18-22: Sword Mastery 5/5 - (Drop your Claw now and equip a Sword and a Shield).
     - Lvl 23-27: Enrage 5/5 - (Not that great anymore because of the nerf, but still).
     - Lvl 28: Charge 1/5 - (Good Power re-generator and for escaping ).
     - Lvl 29-33: Berserk 5/5
     - Lvl 34-38: Sword Precision 5/5
