Vanguard ZERO: Oracle Think Tank Tsukuyomi Build and Guide

Here's a quick guide and tips for Oracle Think Tank Tsukuyomi Deck users in the RPG mobile card game Vanguard ZERO.

"Tsukuyomi" cards are able to ride from Deck without going through the hand. By skillfully riding on "Goddess of the Full Moon", Soul cards will increase to 6, and your hand cards can increase with their own skill, making it possible for various tactical strategies. Lastly, use the skill of 'Euryale" and "Silent Tom" to nullify the Sentinel!

Notable Info

   - Higher Trigger Chance = Getting non-Triggers cards and/or adding Trigger cards can increase your chance to get more Triggers!
   - Recyclable Triggers = If you have cards that can recycle a card back to your deck.
   - 16,000+ RG Columns = Easy to build 17,000 Power columns, 18,000 will require specific cards.
   - 21,000+ RG Columns = It's possible, but this deck build will not heavily rely on building 21,000+ Power RG columns except when using Trigger Check buffs.

Tsukuyomi G1Tsukuyomi G2Tsukuyomi G3
   - Goddess of the Crescent Moon, Tsukuyomi (G1) = Aim for x4.
   - Goddess of the Half Moon, Tsukuyomi (G2) = Aim for x4.
   - Goddess of the Full Moon, Tsukuyomi (G3) = At least x2, but aim for x3 or x4. 11,000 base Power Vanguard. If your Soul has 6 or more cards, CB2 to draw 2 cards, and put a card from your hand into your Soul.
   - If done right, you should get 6 cards in your "Soul", enough to enable Tsukuyomi's (G3) skill.

Suggested Cards To Add (Budget Cards)

Grade 1 Cards

   - Oracle Guardian, Gemini (G1) = Add x2, nice base Power and Defense.
   - Oracle Guardian, Blue Eye (G1) = Add x3, used to recycle cards if conditions are met.

Grade 2 Cards

   - Battle Maiden, Tagitsuhime (G2) = Add x2~x3, nice 12,000 Power if you have 6 or more cards in Soul. Players prefer using x2 or x3 because skill is kinda hard to activate early on.
   - Faithful Angel (G2) = Add x2~x4, used to recycle cards if you have 6 or more cards in Soul.
   - Oracle Guardian, Wiseman (G2) = Add up to x4, nice base Power and Defense.
   - Battle Sister, Mocha (G2) = Optional card, used as alternative that can reach 11,000 Power if your have 3 or more cards in hand.
   - Oracle Guardian, Red Eye (G2) = Limit to x2~x3, optional card used to add "Soul" cards in case your Chain Ride failed.

Grade 3 Cards

   - Evil-eye Princess, Euryale (G3) = Limit to x1~x3, optional card, bind a random card from your opponent's hand until the end of turn, nice backup if you don't have Silent Tom (G2) in hand.
   - Gentle Jimm (G3) = Limit to x1~x3, SB1 and discard a card to buff 1 unit with +3,000 Power. Good for making 21,000 Lines and to buff low Power columns.
   - Secretary Angel (G3) = Add x2~x4, used to recycle cards if you have 6 or more cards in Soul.
   - Meteor Break Wizard (G3) = Add as filler if you need more cards, CB1 to reach 13,000 Power when needed.
   - Oracle Guardian, Apollon (G3) = Limit to x1~x2, also a possible addition to your deck if you don't have enough cards, but make sure not to use it as a Vanguard because this unit's skill will shuffle your deck.

   - NOTE: Feel free to try other cards not listed here, and add any Grade 3 cards you have available, just make sure to follow the recommended Trigger Set below.

RRR and Other Cards (If Available)

Silent Tom G2
   - Silent Tom (G2) = Add x2~x3, used to ignore Sentinel Cards (PG), awesome card that can give you higher chance to win battles (best used when your opponent's Damage is 5).
   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = Aim for x3 or x4, nice sub Vanguard in case your Chain Ride failed, but performs better as a rear guard for this build.

   - NOTE: Feel free to try other cards not listed here, and add any Grade 3 cards you have available, just make sure to follow the recommended Trigger Set below.

Example Deck Builds

   - NOTE: For cards that you don't have, just use the guide above to add filler cards to your deck for now, but if you want to add cards to the existing ones, feel free to do so. Also note that new cards might become available in the future, so feel free to test them out as well.
OTT Tsukuyomi Deck Build 1
(*Use as reference, feel free to remove/add cards.)
(*Replace x2 Oracle Guardian, Wiseman (G2) with any Grade 2 cards you like to add.)
(*Replace x2 Euryale (G3) with Gentle Jimm (G3) if you like.)

Trigger Sets

Rank Fight Trigger Set

   - Critical Trigger (x0), Draw Trigger (x5~x7), Stand Trigger (x2~x4), and Heal Trigger (x4)
   - Critical Trigger (x2~x4), Draw Trigger (x5~x7), Stand Trigger (x0), and Heal Trigger (x4)
   - Refer to the build above (screenshot) for example Triggers Set for specific cards. Reduce and balance Draw Triggers if you are getting "Deck Outs".

   - Do not set Heal Triggers to your Tsukuyomi (G3).
   - Setting Heal Triggers to your CEO Amaterasu (G3) is ok, just recycle it back to deck if you will no longer use it.
   - Stand Triggers can help Faithful Angel (G2) and Secretary Angel (G3) recycle more cards, to clear some rear guards, and to help break through Sentinel Cards (PG).
   - Critical Triggers can help you land and reach 5 Damage asap, or end the battle before you run out of cards.

For Non Rank Fight Battles

   - NOTE: Feel free to experiment with other Trigger Sets according to your preference. Add more Critical Triggers and/or Stand Triggers if you want to use this deck for certain events, like non Rank Fights that would require you to finish the battle asap.

Oracle Think Tank Battle Strategies

Mulligan (Starting Cards)

   - Goddess of the Crescent Moon, Tsukuyomi (G1) = Keep x1.
   - Goddess of the Half Moon, Tsukuyomi (G2) = Keep x1.
   - Goddess of the Full Moon, Tsukuyomi (G3) = Keep x1.

   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = Keep x1, optional if you didn't get Tsukuyomi (G3).
   - Battle Sister, Chocolat (G1) = Keep at least x1.

Basic Battle Strategies

   - Complete the Combo Chain until you can ride Tsukuyomi (G3).
   - Efficiently play your cards according to your opponent's cards in play, don't rush in and place all your cards unnecessarily especially if you up against decks with high field control. This way, you can easily manage your cards in hand depending on the situation.
   - Use your Intercept cards to minimize damages and to control how many Damage you want to take for your Counter Blast users.

What If The Chain Ride Failed?

Option 1:
   - Use "Soul Charge" cards depending on how many cards you need (need at least 6 total cards in Soul).
Red Eye G2
   - Oracle Guardian, Red Eye (G2) = When this unit's attack hits, Soul Charge 1.
   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = Ride first to use "Soul Charge" then ride Tsukuyomi (G3) once you have at least 5 cards in your Soul (CEO Amaterasu (G3) will be your 6th).

   - If you failed right from the start and did not ride both Tsukuyomi (G1) and (G2), you'll need 3 more cards into the Soul. Better use CEO Amaterasu (G3) as Vanguard at this point.
   - If you rode Tsukuyomi (G1) but missed Tsukuyomi (G2), you'll need 2 more cards into the Soul. Use CEO Amaterasu (G3) as Vanguard or use 2 Red Eye (G2) cards.
   - If you just missed Tsukuyomi (G1) but able to ride Tsukuyomi (G2), you just need 1 card into the Soul. Use CEO Amaterasu (G3) as Vanguard or use 1 Red Eye (G2) card, you can also ride any Grade 3 card before riding Tsukuyomi (G3) or any Grade 3 if you don't have.

   - TIP: If you want to avoid getting a "Deck Out" vs certain decks, ride any Grade 3 card instead of CEO Amaterasu (G3) if you were able to ride both Tsukuyomi (G1) and (G2). Use CEO Amaterasu (G3) as rear guard instead if you want to use her skill.
   - Remember this especially when you are using Oracle Guardian, Red Eye (G2) to place cards into your Soul.

Option 2:
   - Do a "Re-Ride" but don't overdo it though. If for example you have Tsukuyomi (G2) but your current Vanguard is already Grade 2, then just do a Re-Ride especially if you have Tsukuyomi (G3) in hand.

Counter Blasts

Tsukuyomi G3
   - Goddess of the Full Moon, Tsukuyomi (G3) = CB2 to increase your cards. Just make sure though that your card in hand is NOT 8 or more before using this skill.

   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = Use this unit's skill when you need to draw cards to get Grade 2 Intercept cards, Sentinel Cards (PG), Silent Tom (G2), and other cards you need. This would consume Soul cards though, so your other cards would lose their skill effect, use only when needed.
   - NOTE: Do not use her skill if your opponent's Damage is 5, use it instead to attack a Rear Guard to avoid getting blocked by a Sentinel Card (PG).

   - Note: Also consider other card effects that requires Counter Blasts if needed.

Recycle Cards in Hand to Deck

Blue Eye G1Faithful Angel G2Secretary Angel G3
   - Use cards like Oracle Guardian, Blue Eye (G1), Faithful Angel (G2), and Secretary Angel (G3) that can recycle cards in hand. Use them to search Grade 2 Intercept cards, Sentinel Cards (PG), Silent Tom (G2), and other cards you need, make sure that you have at least 1 card in hand, the more the better.

   - NOTE: If you have CEO Amaterasu (G3) as Vanguard and the next card you checked is a Trigger that you can use, remember not to use the 3 cards mentioned above or else you'll lose that Trigger. On the other hand, if you are able to check a non Trigger card like Silent Tom (G2) that you want to get into your hand, then use any of the 3 cards above to get that card.

Closing Battles

Silent Tom G2Euryale G3
   - Aim for 5 Damage then use Silent Tom (G2) to close battles (hope your opponent won't draw a Heal Trigger though). In case your opponent's Damage is 4, it is possible to setup Silent Tom (G2) as your 2nd attacker, but it's a bit risky and requires that you have a decent Booster or maybe rely on Trigger bonuses.

   - You can also use Evil-eye Princess, Euryale (G3) if you don't have Silent Tom (G2) to try and bind those Sentinel Cards (PG) before attacking (works better if your opponent got few cards).

If You Want To Level Up Your Game

   - Track every card that goes to the bottom of your deck, then use that to your advantage once the deck starts to cycle back to top. Do it fast though to avoid getting a "Time Out" or do it during your opponent's turn or during your Ride Phase.
   - Use simple words or codes when tracking like 1, 2, S, H, D, PG, or Tom.

   - TIP: Check the Log (Menu > View Log) to track cards like "Drive Check No Trigger" and "Put to Deck Bottom". You can also write them down, would recommend to do it from that start and up to 15~20 cards, take note of the first 2 or 3 cards to know when it would start.

How To Build 21,000+ Power Columns

Vanguard + Booster

   - Tsukuyomi (G3) = 11,000 base Power Vanguard.
   - Tsukuyomi (G3) + Any Booster with 7,000~8,000 Power = 18,000~19,000 Power (23,000~24,000 Power with +5,000 "Trigger Check" buff).

   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) = 10,000 base Power if used as Vanguard (+4000 Power if you have 2 or more cards in hand).
   - CEO Amaterasu (G3) + Any Booster with 7,000~8,000 Power = 21,000~22,000 Power.

Rear Guards + Booster

   - Oracle Guardian, Gemini (G1) = 8,000 Power Booster.
   - Gemini (G1) + Meteor Break Wizard (G3) = 21,000 total Power (CB1).
   - Gemini (G1) + Any Rear Guard with 8,000~10,000 Power = 16,000~18,000 total Power (21,000~23,000 Power with +5,000 "Trigger Check" buff).

   - Gentle Jimm (G3) = SB1 and discard a card to buff 1 unit with +3,000 Power until the end of turn. Buff columns listed above or these example columns:
   - Gemini (G1) + Any Rear Guard with 10,000 Power = 18,000 total Power (21,000 Power with buff).
   - NOTE: Gentle Jimm (G3) will consume cards from your Soul, best use if you have more than 6 cards. Also consider using him to buff up your Tom (G2), to land his attack!

   - NOTE: Other cards not included here are also OK to use but very situational or unsustainable, use them if needed.
