Brawl Quest: Best Brawlers and Recommended Pets to Use

Luwan

Brawl Quest: Brawler Luwan

Basic Info:

   - Type: Paper
   - Stamina: 100
   - Jump Attack (30): 2 Hits, 5 seconds cool-down (melee, decent in-line AoE).
   - Charge Attack (60): 1 Hit, 7 seconds cool-down (ranged, decent in-line AoE).
   - Burst Attack: Releases a burst attack in-front of him (ranged, wide in-line AoE, noticeably thin though).

Combo Generation:

   - Basic Attacks: Fast and easy to generate combos.
   - Jump Attacks: Can be used with basic attacks to generate more combos, and keep the target in midair.
   - Charge Attacks: Only gives 1 hit and using it might also knock down the target and end your combo streak, so only use when Luwan is close enough to the target, or against grouped enemies.

Recommendations:

   - Decent Brawler, but mostly used for Dispatch Quests (level up to increase success chance).

Pets To Equip:

   - LORD: Pet Effect +% Burst Fill Rate (to help fill up the burst meter).
   - NYX: Pet Effect +% Basic Damage (you'll be using basic attacks most of the time anyway).
   - JEN: Pet Effect +% Stamina Regen (Jump/Charge attacks' cool-downs are decent, equip this pet to help spam more attacks).
   - KON: Pet Effect +% Burst Damage (if you need more damage vs tough enemies or Bosses).

   - Note: This is based on the first 10 Pets, also try new Pets once they are available.

Mayor

Brawl Quest: Brawler Mayor

Basic Info:

   - Type: Rock
   - Stamina: 100
   - Jump Attack (30): 3 Hits, 7 seconds cool-down (melee, decent in-line AoE).
   - Charge Attack (80): 1 Hit, 12 seconds cool-down (melee, surround AoE).
   - Burst Attack: Releases a burst attack in-front of him (melee, wide AoE). NEW UPDATE!

Combo Generation:

   - Basic Attacks: Can easily generate combos and keep targets in midair while using any attacks, especially when fighting around tight spaces.
   - Jump Attacks: Use against heavily grouped enemies to quickly generate combos.
   - Charge Attacks: Use it to deal heavy damage when you are not busy building combos, and to clear the stage faster.

Recommendations:

   - Highly recommended to focus your resources on this melee Brawler early game to clear most stages. Mayor's high HP is also great to help you survive tough stages.
   - Excellent Brawler to clear Secret Lab 4-10 Stage (hard mode; 3 Stars).

Pets To Equip:

   - LORD: Pet Effect +% Burst Fill Rate (to help fill up the burst meter).
   - NYX: Pet Effect +% Basic Damage (you'll be using basic attacks most of the time anyway).
   - CHARLES: Pet Effect +% Charge Damage (nice addition to increase Mayor's nuke and overall damage potential).
   - KON: Pet Effect +% Burst Damage (if you need more damage vs tough enemies or Bosses).
   - JEN: Pet Effect +% Stamina Regen (Jump/Charge attacks' cool-downs are decent, equip this pet to help spam more attacks).

   - Note: This is based on the first 10 Pets, also try new Pets once they are available.

Chowkat

Brawl Quest: Brawler Chowkat

Basic Info:

   - Type: Scissors
   - Stamina: 150
   - Jump Attack (90): 5 Hits, 12 seconds cool-down (melee, decent in-line AoE).
   - Charge Attack (50): 1 Hit, 1 second cool-down (melee, surround AoE, 2 seconds delay).
   - Burst Attack: Spins and damages enemies nearby, can also move while using Burst Atttack (melee, surround AoE).

Combo Generation:

   - Basic Attacks: Decent and can keep targets in midair, just be careful when moving into tight spaces and heavily grouped enemies because Chowkat's jumping basic attack might disrupt combos.
   - Jump Attacks: Can do lots of hits when used against heavily grouped enemies, however it's CD is too long. Just fire right away once available.
   - Charge Attacks: A cast and go attack, best against mobs (lure then drop them while they are chasing you!). Make sure not to get hit, but close enough to blast enemies nearby. You can also use this every time your target is knocked to the ground.

Recommendations:

   - Decent melee Brawler, but mostly used for Dispatch Quests (level up to increase success chance) and for clearing easier stages.

Pets To Equip:

   - LORD: Pet Effect +% Burst Fill Rate (to help fill up the burst meter).
   - NYX: Pet Effect +% Basic Damage (you'll be using basic attacks most of the time anyway).
   - KON: Pet Effect +% Burst Damage (if you need more damage vs tough enemies or Bosses).
   - Better wait for a pet that can reduce Jump Attack's CD, to boost Chowkat's combo generation.

   - Note: This is based on the first 10 Pets, also try new Pets once they are available.

Crizy

Brawl Quest: Brawler Crizy

Basic Info:

   - Type: Paper
   - Stamina: 100
   - Jump Attack (40): 3 Hits, 5 seconds cool-down (melee, limited in-line AoE).
   - Charge Attack (60): 9 Hits, 2 seconds cool-down (ranged, limited AoE).
   - Burst Attack: Releases a moving tornado in-front of her (ranged, wide in-line AoE).

Combo Generation:

   - Basic Attacks: Easy to use especially when fighting at melee range or around tight spaces, but try to use Charge Attack first before moving closer to lock targets in midair!
   - Jump Attacks: Nice, but you'll be spamming Charge Attacks most of the time though. Only use if needed to escape, or dodge dangerous areas.
   - Charge Attacks: Spam or use with Basic Attacks to generate fast and easy combos (can easily hit max hits so no need to equip a LORD pet!). Crizy's Charge Attacks can be spammed when an enemy is pinned to the edge of the screen, and can also go through walls or obstacles!
   - Burst Attacks: You can move while using bursts, so use this opportunity to build up combos right away! Use your Charge Attacks to push enemies inside the tornado then move closer to land more basic attacks!

Recommendations:

   - If you prefer using a ranged Brawler, you might want to try Crizy. She can fight at melee range and even better from a ranged position while building fast combos. Enemies with Super Armor isn't a problem for her too!
   - Also level up her for Dispatch Quests (increase success chance).

Pets To Equip:

   - JEN: Pet Effect +% Stamina Regen (get this pet to help spam your Charge Attacks and rake fast combos).
   - MR FOREST: Pet Effect +% Charge Attack Cost Reduction (to spam more Charge Attacks!).
   - CHARLES: Pet Effect +% Charge Damage (nice addition to increase Crizy's Charge Attacks and overall damage potential).
   - KON: Pet Effect +% Burst Damage (to give extra damage to Crizy's tornado).

   - Note: This is based on the first 10 Pets, also try new Pets once they are available.

Taong G

Brawl Quest: Brawler Taong G

Basic Info:

   - Type: Scissors
   - Stamina: 150
   - Jump Attack (40): 1~3 Hits, 9 seconds cool-down (melee, decent in-line AoE).
   - Charge Attack (80): 2~4 Hits, 0.5 seconds cool-down (melee, decent in-line AoE).
   - Burst Attack: Releases an AoE attack that pierces through all directions, best used close to the target as possible (ranged, wide AoE).

Combo Generation:

   - Basic Attacks: Easy to generate combos and lock enemies midair, ranged is a bit longer than other Brawlers too!
   - Jump Attacks: CD is too long and hits are inconsistent, better spam Charge Attacks.
   - Charge Attacks: Use basic attacks until the target goes to midair then use Charge Attacks to maintain your combos. You can also spam Charge Attacks, but avoid aiming towards dangerous areas like spikes and flames on the ground because this attack will get cancelled (use Jump Attacks instead if needed).

Recommendations:

   - Great melee type Brawler, can easily clear mobs, performs best around wide open areas.
   - Level up too for Dispatch Quests (increase success chance).

   - LORD: Pet Effect +% Burst Fill Rate (to help fill up the burst meter).
   - NYX or KON: Nice pets too, but not enough slots, use them against Bosses if you like (if no mobs to spam Charge Attacks).

   - Note: This is based on the first 10 Pets, also try new Pets once they are available.
