Hero Ratings (Stars)
- Ratings will be based on their overall performance against stronger enemies (Normal Stages and Dungeon Mode). Please note that these are just recommendations based on my limited gameplay experience so it's not 100% accurate.
Front Heroes
- HP is very important for Front Heroes because they will most likely get damaged more than others. Bosses also have splash damages which could bypass tanks (so more HP = more chance to cast skills).
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆- Heroes (like Tanks) that can do their job well, good for any team builds and game modes.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Off-Tank high HP Heroes that can do some nice damages, more like alternatives to tank.
- Can be used as reserves, switch them while in battle (Normal Stages), or use them as initial tanks or last resort tanks for Dungeon Mode.
- Example: If your main tank dies in Normal Stages, switch them to let your tank CD and recover some HP or until a unit is able to immobilize the boss.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Damager Type Heroes with good HP (more like a "kamikaze" type). Switch them while in battle, or depending on the situation (mainly used for Normal Stages, using them for Dungeon Modes would require more switches).
- Examples:
- If you want to clear mobs, go for Heroes with 2 Splash Damages (good for clearing out mobs giving your immobilizers/stunners a better chance to target the Boss).
- Chief Throkell: If you want to protect your ranged units ("because tanks are slow"), use a fast moving hero with decent HP while advancing or against fast moving mobs/bosses.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Damager Type Heroes but kinda lacking in stats and/or skills compared to the above heroes. Notably strong when they are up against weaker enemies, some got high DPS but can't utilize well against stronger enemies, unless with the help of immobilizers.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Other Heroes that might be underrated. Their overall strength heavily depends on how strong the enemies are. They might not be able to perform well, and rarely cast skills because they are busy dying.
Back/Mid Heroes
- For ranged heroes, ATK, DPS, Skills and Utility are their key factors.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆- Probably heroes with utility, can survive well, and do great damages as well (none for now).
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Pretty good for their roles as Support (Immobilizers/Stunners or Healers) and as AoE Damage dealers (Splash Damage).
- Basically, use Splash Damagers to quickly remove mobs, Immobilizers to stun the Boss, then Healers to heal your Tanks while the Boss is being locked with stuns.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Still great heroes to use, with utility and/or support, usually have low DPS though, or more focused on single targets. Ranged heroes with FAST move speed is also risky, unless enemies are weaker (needs a FAST moving melee for cover).
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Not bad as alternatives, if you don't have a better unit, but might require some serious upgrading to increase damage and/or to ensure survivability. Mostly positioned at the middle part of the battlefield which is still risky, especially during Dungeon Runs.
- Summoners: Depends on the performance and upgrades of their summons.
- ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Not recommended.
Example Formations:
- 2 Support (Healer and Immobilizer), 2 Damagers, and 2 Tanks.- 2 Support (Healer and Immobilizer), 3 Damagers, 1 Tank (switch another Tank if needed).
- 2 Support (Healer and Immobilizer), 2 Damagers, 1 Tank, and 1 Off-tank (switch another Off-tank if needed).
- 2 Support (Healer and Immobilizer), 2 Damagers, 1 Tank, and 1 Off-tank/Damager (switch both).
Common Soldiers
- Only upgrade what you need for early game, probably Shield Warriors, Sorcerers and Healers, then slowly replace them with Heroes that can do the same roles, but better. For Beginners, Refer Here for More Info:
