Woodland Walk Region

   - Welcome to the new region where you will start to encounter new type of trees (Mesquite Trees) and animals like Boars. A whole new set of items and food can also be gathered from here on. Good Luck!

Hunting Boars
   - Use your Upgraded Advanced Slingshots to hunt Boars (4x Hits with 2x drops), or buy some Composite Slingshots (2x Hits) from camp sites around here.

Chopping Mesquite Trees
   - The easiest way is to buy multiple Logger's Axe from traders around here, or if you feel lucky, just wait for someone to chop them down for you.

Update on Food to Focus On
   - Apples are somewhat scarce here, so either buy them from other traders and continue crafting Cookies, or just use all of your Wheat Grasses for crafting Bread. Also buy some Wheat Grass from traders when you get the chance.
   - Continue and buy or gather Raw Meat and Rock Salt for your Jerky recipe.
   - Reminder: Watch out for your Food Weight, just carry around 30 Weight for now to avoid faster Stamina drain.

Start Hoarding Eggs
   - From here on, gather and save all Eggs that you encounter along the way (also drops from Mesquite trees), and from trading. Use them to craft Omelettes. Conserve your food because this is the last Food recipe that you can easily make.
   - Omelettes restores 4 Hearts by default.

Omelettes, Peach Cakes and Sausages
   - You will also start to encounter these types of Food from trading, buy them if you want, then store them into your Private Chests for later use.
   - Peach Cakes and Sausages restores 5 Hearts by default.

Saving Quest Items (Private Chest)
   - Gather and save these items to easily complete some quests later on.

   - Save 15 Eggs for later (Flour Recipe quest).
   - Save 27 Cotton Fiber for later (Hitchhiker's Pack Recipe quest).
   - Save 5 Apples and 10 Wheat Grass for later (Peach Cake Recipe quest).
   - Save 5 Raw Meat and 10 Rock Salts for later (Sausages Recipe quest).
   - Save 27 Wheat Grass for later (Buffalo Pie Recipe quest).

Wetland Way Camp Site and Ferry
   - Woodland Walk region still drops Turkey Feathers so Pilgrim Hats should still be your main source of Chits. More info and other options can be found here: How to Get or Farm Fast Chits with Toys and Hats.

Salesbury Swamp Region

   - Welcome to the Swamp region!

Swampfire Landing Camp Site and Ferry
   - You can no longer find Turkey Feathers here, so if you still have lots, then that's perfect.
   - In case you are running out, just farm or buy them from other traders.
   - More info and other options can be found here: How to Get or Farm Fast Chits with Toys and Hats.

Sunny Savanna Region

Quest List Update
   - Once you reach this region, you should now be close on completing the Twine Recipe and Flour Recipe (All job paths at Lvl 12).

Thirsty River Camp Site and Ferry
   - Just continue whenever you are ready.

Deadman Dunes Region

   - Welcome to the Desert region!

Quest List Update
   - At this point of the game, some of your quests will force you to go back and replay other regions to complete them. Follow my advice above on how and where to farm these quest items.

   - While doing your Upgraded Composite Slingshot Recipe, take your time and earn more Chits by crafting more Pilgrim Hats. Farm them from the Buffalo Range region: Yellow Steppe > Lavender Tor.

Saving Quest Items (Private Chest)
   - Gather and save these items to easily complete some quests later on.
   - Save 40 Desert Rose for later (Master Trader Jacket Recipe quest).

Peach Cakes and Sausages
   - Once you unlock these recipes, ignore them for now. Focus on your easy to craft Food recipes instead. If you followed my advice before, you should now have more than enough Food anyway.

Hunter and Lumberjack Quests
   - Once you are done with the Sausages Recipe above, continue your journey and complete the remaining quests along the way. Craft or buy some tools and use them to chop Mesquite trees and hunt Boars.

   - If you need to replay previous trails, here's some notable locations:
   - Boars: Dunes Shadow > East Drought
   - Mesquite Trees: Dry Valley > Trader's Outpost

Canyon Crossing Camp Site and Ferry
   - Just continue whenever you are ready.

The Trail: upgrade your House to Lvl 4

Sequoia Glen Region (Eden Falls)

   - Try to upgrade your House to Lvl 4 first and purchase some recommended furnitues with at least 1 Luxury Bed before reaching the Buffalo Range Region.
   - Refer to the "Farming Chits" section above to help you decide which method is best and where to farm them.

Gather Crafting Materials For Later Use
   - From here on, start hoarding the following items and keep them in your Private Chests. Just collect what you encounter along the way, and from trades. No need for hard farming.
The Trail - Wheat GrassThe Trail - ApplesThe Trail - Raw meatThe Trail - Rock Salt
Wheat Grass and Apples
   - Materials used for crafting Cookies later on (2x Wheat Grass and 1x Apple).

Rock Salt and Raw Meat (Focus More Here)
   - Materials used for crafting Jerky later on (2x Rock Salt and 1x Raw Meat).

Prairie Crossing Camp Site and Ferry
   - If you need more Chits for your ferry fare, just refer to the "Farming Chits" section above.

Buffalo Range Region

Turkey Feathers!
   - Once you reach this region (Summer Base camp site), you'll start to encounter more Turkey Feathers. Grab them all and keep them into your Private Chest until you are able to craft Pilgrim Hats.
The Trail: Turkey Feathers and Pilgrim Hats
Pilgrim Hats
   - Crafting these hats will be your main source of Chits as you go on through the mid game. So keep gathering them while trailing, and buy every Turkey Feather that you see while trading.
   - Refer here for more info: The Trail: How to Get or Farm Fast Chits with Toys and Hats

Start Stacking Food
   - Yes, because as you go farther, Stamina drain will get a little bit trickier, especially for longer trails. Preferably, gather food items that can restore at least 2 Hearts and can fit into your pockets.

   - Restores 2 Hearts of Stamina: Cookies, Grilled Mushrooms and Mushroom Soup.
   - Restores 3 Hearts of Stamina: Bread and Jerky.

   - Note: If you can't craft them yet, buy them! Yes, from here onwards, start purchasing food while trading (especially Jerky), and stack them all into your Private Chests. If you do this now, the next regions would become much easier.
   - You can still survive Buffalo Range region by saving up Berries, Mushrooms, and Sweet Chestnuts along the way, but still keep some higher tier food into your pockets just in case.

Number of Hearts
   - Equip higher tier of gears to increase your survivability (craft or buy from traders).
   - From here on, keep your Stamina to at least 4 or 5 Hearts.

Frozen Peaks Region

Start Crafting Food!
   - Once you reach this region, learn these recipes and start crafting Cookies and Jerky.
The Trail - crafting CookiesThe Trail - crafting Jerky
   - If you followed my advice above (Sequoia Glen Region - Eden Falls), you should now have enough crafting materials for food.
   - Still continue and collect Wheat Grass, Apples, Raw Meat, and Rock Salt (no need to farm).

   - I didn't recommend crafting Bread because it requires 4 Wheat Grasses, and it will only restore 3 Hearts. Buy them from other traders instead.
   - Grilled Mushrooms are also ok to craft, as long that you have some Mushrooms and Birch Sticks in your bag (no need to farm).

IMPORTANT TIP: Weight Also Affects Stamina Drain!
   - Well, it can't be helped since you need to collect things while trailing, but their is an important factor why your Stamina is draining way too fast than before = Weight of Food!
   - Yes, to greatly reduce the weight you are carrying, STOP placing 10x Bread and/or 10x Jerky in ALL of your pockets or bag (10x Bread = 30 Weight; and 10x Jerky/Cookie = 20 Weight).
   - Limit Food Weight to around 30 for now, this should be more than enough. Let your extras stay in your Private Chests.

   - For more info about color of Hearts, go here: The Trail: How To Avoid Red Color Hearts (Fast Stamina Drain)

Reminder: If Your Character Collapses
Reminder: If Your Character Collapses
   - TIP: If your character fainted, do not accept any notification (even that check mark), instead, just open your bag and use your Food until all Hearts are full or at least almost full. If successful, your character will get up and no items will drop.

Pinecone Valley Region

   - Just continue whenever you can.

Quest Completion
   - Once you are here or about to reach the end of this region (Growing Camp > Green Meadows), you should have completed all quests above.
   - The next set of quests will cover beyond the Swamp.

   - Along the trail, if you run out of tools, you can wait for others to do it for you, then grab what
you can.

   - Replace worn out gears (durability about to turn red). Check your Wardrobe Menu if you need replacements. Never go on a trail with a RED Worn Out Gear [Repair Icon is present], because you'll lose more Stamina while trailing. It is best to pre-craft items to avoid getting stuck for a while.
   - Leveling up your Tool and Gear Recipes will increase their overall performance, so craft them whenever you have the materials needed.

Crafting Tools
   - Start collecting Flint Pebbles and Birch Sticks for your Hatchet and Advanced Slingshot.

Welcome To Eden Falls!

Here's Some Quick Tips
   - Select a town that has a decent name and a number of houses or plots. Some towns only have 5 plots and others have as high as 20. Select a town that has at least 10 plots total with all 5 professions present.

How to Select a Town?
   - Upon entering the town, your guide will prompt you to buy an empty plot. Don't do it, if you wait long enough, the town you are in will get refreshed.
   - Note: Even after purchasing the plot under the Town name that you like, you'll still be taken to a random town and profession...not sure if this is a bug, or maybe because someone purchased the plot before you.

Houses and Professions
   - Tanner, Blacksmith, Stonemason, Carpenter, and Weaver. Choose any profession that you like, depending on the available plots. I think it's ok to choose any Profession, since all of you within the Town will be helping each other anyway.

Is It Possible To Transfer to Another Town?
   - With the new update: "The Stagecoach" building - You can now move to another Town or become the founding member of a new Town!
   - More info about "Moving to a Different Town" can be found here: The Trail: How to Move or Transfer to a Different Town -  FAQs

Upgrading Your Home
   - Upgrade your house to Lvl 3 then Lvl 4 asap by gathering the required materials (depends on
your profession). You can gather them around Eden Falls area, or get them from trades, top trader gift, or ad girl Annie.
   - Place the items needed on the machine inside your house, to create upgrade materials.
   - Warning!: Other players can also take your upgrade materials, so keep them once it's done.

   - Note: Once your house reaches a certain Lvl, you are now required to use the machines of other houses to produce other materials needed for upgrading your own house.
   - In case you want to take some finished materials from your neighbors, it's best that you replace them too with some raw materials.

Furnitures to Focus On
   - Shared Shelving: Only buy and if you want to help by sharing items to your neighbors (place free stuff here for them to grab).
   - Private Chest: You can store any items here, especially newly crafted items with long cool-downs. Add more if needed.

   - Items with extra effects, especially Stamina Drain -%, and Crafted Items +% Quality. Others are optional.
   - Consider the space they will occupy and their bonuses. To check, select "Buy", but don't move the furniture (it will not be purchased until you move it on a green lited area).
   - More info can be found here: Recommended Furnitures To Buy
Farming Chits
Farming Chits
   - Refer to our separate guide here: How to Get or Farm Fast Chits with Toys and Hats
   - Try to upgrade your House to Lvl 4 and purchase all recommended furnitures including 1 Luxury Bed before reaching the Buffalo Range Region.

The Warehouse
   - Add items to crates with other townsfolk to earn Chits and Gold. The town that earns the most will win special prizes (rival towns will be randomly generated). But remember you can only fill one crate at a time.
   - Fore mor info on how the Warehouse works, refer here: The Trail: The Warehouse - How It Works To Get Chits and Gold
