Sell Crops To Players

   - You may also trade and sell any crops below to other players or in the Marketplace (inside Buck's Galore upper area) for a slightly higher price than the ones listed below (price when selling to Hazel). Price varies depending on demand, sell a bit lower than the price in the Marketplace if trading with other players.

   - NOTE: You can only trade after reaching the required "Reputation Score" in-game (check and test). This might change anytime though depending on updates.

Crop Deaths

   - Most crops will die after 72 hours after full growth others are longer, but just to be sure, harvest before 48 hours (except for Grumpkins, check info below). After they've died, you can harvest the dead crop to get the seeds back.
   - NOTE: When a Farm owner removed their plots, your plants would die as well...

How To Farm Fast Berries (Beginner's Guide)

Popberry (Farming Skill Lvl 0)

Pixels Popberry
   - Cost Per Seed = 1 Berry (Time = 1 Minute).
   - Energy Required = 3.5 Energy (2 for Seed Planting, 0.5 for Water, and 1 for Harvest).
   - For 60 Plot Farms = You'll need 210 Energy Total (Plant, Water, and Harvest).

   - Sell Value = 3 Berries (Berries Gained After Selling = 2 Berries).
   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 0.571 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 570 Berries).
   - XP Per Energy = 1.000

Recommendation:

   - Fast crop to plant but gives low Berries per Energy, just use it until you reach Farming Skill Lvl 2.

Should I Use My Popberries To Make Popberry Pies?

   - NOTE: You can only trade after reaching the required "Reputation Score" in-game, so either sell your Popberries to the Shop or keep them and only sell some just for buying seeds. Once you can trade or access the Marketplace, sell your Popberries for at least 3.5 Berries each and you'll still get the same results (even better if you sell them higher). Unless you want to level up your Cooking Skill as well or for quest completion then go for it.
   - TIP: For other crops below, no need to cook or make them into wine to increase their prices, unless stated, or for quests.

   - If your plan is to consume Popberry Pies to replenish Energy and plant again for more XP, I would NOT recommend it because you'll gradually lose Berries as you go (also applies to all crops below).
   - If you just want fast Berries and Farming Skill XP, farming alone is the best option overall.

Butterberry (Farming Skill Lvl 2)

Pixels Butterberry
   - Cost Per Seed = 1 Berry (Time = 20 Minutes).
   - Energy Required = 3.5 Energy (2 for Seed Planting, 0.5 for Water, and 1 for Harvest).
   - For 60 Plot Farms = You'll need 150 Energy if only Plant and Water, then another 60 Energy for Harvesting later on (you'll need 210 Energy Total if harvest first then replant).

   - Sell Value = 5 Berries (Berries Gained After Selling = 4 Berries).
   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 1.143 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 1140 Berries).
   - XP Per Energy = 1.143

Recommendation:

   - Fast crop to plant that gives nice Berries per Energy, plant them until you reach Farming Skill Lvl 5.

Clover (Farming Skill Lvl 3)

Pixels CloverPixels 4 Leaf Clover
   - Cost Per Seed = 3 Berries (Time = 45 Minutes).
   - Energy Required = 5 Energy (3.5 for Seed Planting, 0.5 for Water, and 1 for Harvest).
   - For 60 Plot Farms = You'll need 240 Energy if only Plant and Water, then another 60 Energy for Harvesting later on (you'll need 300 Energy Total if harvest first then replant).

   - Sell Value = 6 Berries (Berries Gained After Selling = 3 Berries).
   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 0.600 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 600 Berries, if you did not get any 4-Leaf Clovers).
   - XP Per Energy = 0.700
   - *Around 1% to 1.5% chance (or two to three 4-Leaf Clovers for every 200 Plots), each can be sold to shops for 300 Berries.

Recommendation:

   - Luck based crop to plant, Berries Per Energy is low unless you can get two 4-Leaf Clovers per 200 Clovers or 1000 Energy then it's decent ~ better than Butterberry, three 4-Leaf Clovers would make it on par with Watermints. If you don't want to gamble then just skip and focus on Butterberries until you reach Farming Skill Lvl 5.

   - NOTE: 4-Leaf Clovers can also generate 280 Farming Skill XP which is really high, but you need to generate two 4-Leaf Clovers per 200 Clovers or 1000 Energy to surpass Butterberry's XP per Energy, or three 4-Leaf Clovers per 200 Clovers or 1000 Energy to surpass Grainbow's XP per Energy.

Grumpkin (Farming Skill Lvl 8)

Pixels Grumpkin
   - Cost Per Seed = 9 Berries (Time = 3 Hours).
   - Energy Required = 7.5 Energy (5.5 for Seed Planting, 0.5 for Water x2, and 1 for Harvest).
   - For 60 Plot Farms = You'll need 390 Energy if only Plant and Water, then another 60 Energy for Harvesting later on (you'll need 450 Energy Total if harvest first then replant).

   - Sell Value = 19 Berries (Berries Gained After Selling = 10 Berries).
   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 1.333 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 1330 Berries).
   - XP Per Energy = 1.547

Recommendation:

   - Higher Berries Per Energy than Grainbows, but there is a small catch ~ after planting and watering the seeds, you need to water them again around 1 Hour and 30 Minutes remaining (halfway point) or else they are going to die after a few hours! Unlike other crops, you also need to harvest them once they are fully grown (recommended within 10 hours).
   - NOTE: This also applies to all kinds of Grumpkins.

   - If you don't have time to track or don't want to risk it, then just skip and focus on Grainbows until you reach Farming Skill Lvl 11.

Watermint (Farming Skill Lvl 11)

Pixels Watermint
   - Cost Per Seed = 12 Berries (Time = 4 Hours).
   - Energy Required = 8 Energy (6.5 for Seed Planting, 0.5 for Water, and 1 for Harvest).
   - For 60 Plot Farms = You'll need 420 Energy if only Plant and Water, then another 60 Energy for Harvesting later on (you'll need 480 Energy Total if harvest first then replant).

   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 1.500 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 1500 Berries).
   - XP Per Energy = 1.750

Recommendation:

   - Now you can start to farm with higher Berries Per Energy! Watermint is the best crop to plant early game, especially for beginners, keep planting to farm more berries, or until you reach Farming Skill Lvl 15 or higher. Watermints would only grow on Water Type Farms so you need to find land owners with this type of environment.

   - If you want to look for water type environment farms, try to use this useful tool: Pixels Lookup. Use the the drop down boxes to search based on the type of environment and number of soil for example. Do not forget to "Bookmark" or "List" the land by clicking the sign board near the entrance (with the farm's number).

Scarrot (Farming Skill Lvl 15)

   - Cost Per Seed = 15 Berries (Time = 6 Hours).

   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 1.375 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 1375 Berries).
   - XP Per Energy = 1.825

Recommendation:

   - Good alternative to Grumpkins, but with lower Berries Per Energy than Watermints. A good plant if you want faster XP.
   - TIP: For players that can access the Marketplace, you can sell your Scarrots for 27.27 Berries each (tax included) to match Watermint's Berry Per Energy, plus you can get higher XP, which would make this the best crop to plant, if done right!

Muckchuck (Farming Skill Lvl 32)

   - Cost Per Seed = 36 Berries (Time = 1 Hour).
   - Energy Required = 8.5 Energy (7 for Seed Planting, 0.5 for Water, and 1 for Harvest).
   - For 60 Plot Farms = You'll need 450 Energy if only Plant and Water, then another 60 Energy for Harvesting later on (you'll need 510 Energy Total if harvest first then replant).

   - Sell Value = 49 Berries (Berries Gained After Selling = 13 Berries).
   - Berries Gained Per Energy = 1.529 (for every 1,000 Energy you can gain 1521 Berries).
   - XP Per Energy = 0.471

Recommendation:

   - Good alternative to Watermints, with slightly better Berries Per Energy, only takes 1 hour to grow, and can be planted on any type of environment or land. Probably your mid to late game crop to grow (has the lowest XP per Energy) unless you can find something better during events for example.
