- Weak From = Sand and Cut Type attack skills.
- Pure Essence = Activates once it's HP is less than 50%, it removes all inflicted debuffs.
- Static Haze = Activates once it's HP is less than 50%, it doubles all SP requirements when using skills.Coromons To Get (Damage Dealers):
- Note: All Coromons and Skills listed below are just recommendations, feel free to use any Coromon you like. Lvl them up to Lvl 25 to get more stat bonuses.
Moffel > Digmow (Sand Type)
- Strong and sturdy against Electric Types, highly recommended! - Location = Hayville, Woodlow Forest, Woodlow Harbor, and Thunderous Cave.
- Boulder Barrage = Notable Sand Type skill that is strong against Electric Types. It doesn't create contact with the target, so use this especially when Voltgar's Spark Wall skill is up while this Coromon is currently in battle. Even better if you can "Knock Down" Voltgar with this skill!
- Double Slash = Cut Type skill that deals high damage against Electric Types!
- Feelers + Face Slap = Nice combo that deals high damage and a chance to inflict Hazy status to the target (when a Coromon is feeling hazy, its Critical Chance is reduced and all skills will require double the amount of SP to use).
- After Voltgar uses it's Pure Essence skill and Static Haze, bring back Lampyre to battle again then use Swarm Diversion 2 or 3 times.

Increase Survivability with Lampyre!
- Place Lampyre as the leader of your squad before battling Voltgar.
- Swarm Diversion = Use this debuff skill 3 times in a row right from the start to reduce Voltgar's Accuracy by 6 stages! This should help your Coromons survive longer and deal more damage!
- Switch to your damage dealers next to start your attacks.
- After Voltgar uses it's Pure Essence skill and Static Haze, bring back Lampyre to battle again then use Swarm Diversion 2 or 3 times.
Increase Damage with Lampyre!
- Place Lampyre as the leader of your squad before battling Voltgar.
- Cute Pose = Use this debuff skill 2 times right from the start to reduce Voltgar's Defense by 2 stages! Also make sure that your Lampyre have at least 50% HP for the next round (just focus on defensive stats when allocating bonus stats).
- Switch to your damage dealers next to start your attacks. Lampyre's debuffs should be able to help your Coromons deal more damage!
- After Voltgar uses it's Pure Essence skill and Static Haze, bring back Lampyre to battle again then spam Cute Pose at least 2 times, more if possible.
- TIP: With this strategy, it is possible to defeat Voltgar just by using Lampyre and Digmow if done right.
Optional: Give Fruits To Your Coromons
- Mull Fruit = Restores to 75% SP when nearing exhaustion.
- Once Voltgar's HP reaches below 50%, it will activate Static Haze to double all SP when using skills! Give this fruit to your key Coromons to let them use more skills without resting.
- Cuco Fruit = Removes the shock immediately when getting shocked.
- Shock can be sometimes annoying because it can skip more turns than usual, give this Fruit to your key Coromons if you like.
- Juba Fruit = Restores to 50% HP when in danger.
- A basic Fruit that restores HP of any Coromon while in battle.
