ZENONIA S: Rifts in Time - Slasher Stats and Skill Builds

Slashers are characters with strong DEF and speed. Charges towards nearby enemies with a sword. Good balance of ATK and DEF, and easy to control, suitable for beginners.

Suggested Stats Allocation
   - 2 STR and 1 STA (Awakening Points: 4 STR and 1 STA)
   - Total STR and STA: Keep it around 80%~60% STR and 20%~40% STA.
- Slasher Stat Building Guide -

CRIT Build Until Lvl 35
   - HP: as high as possible (Stamina+, HP+).
   - ATK: as high as possible (STR+, ATK+, Stamina+).
   - DEF: collect and upgrade your gears to get the DEF bonuses, if you need more, get (Stamina+DEX+DEF+). Aim for 700+ or 800+ for Chapter 8 and 9 Normal.
   - CRIT RATE: just aim for at least 40% or more (CRIT RATE+%, DEX+).

   - Evasion: getting this around 40% will also help dodge some attacks (Evasion+%).
   - CRIT DMG: just get what you can for now, make sure to cover CRIT RATE first before increasing.
   - MP: leave it for now, or just get the bonus MP+ from Necklace upgrade bonus.
   - Accuracy: 120+ to 130+ should be fine.

   - When resetting Stats, I highly suggest you check the stats available per item gear here: Fighter Stat Reset Guide

CRIT Build Lvl 35 to 60
   - Unlock Hero Mode First. Note that monsters from here on are stronger than before so it is normal to grind if you get stuck.
   - Reminder: Upgrade your gears (especially weapon), battle pets (summon for boss fights), fairies, increase awakening stars, and upgrade some Seals.

   - HP: as high as possible (Stamina+, HP+).
   - ATK: as high as possible (STR+, ATK+, Stamina+).
   - DEF: collect and upgrade your gears to get the DEF bonuses, if you need more, get (Stamina+DEX+DEF+). Aim for at least 2000+ DEF for Chapter 9 Hero Mode, more if you want.

   - CRIT RATE: just cap it around 100% first (CRIT RATE+%, DEX+), increase if you want more but do not exceed far from 200%.
   - CRIT DMG: as high as possible, aim for at least 100%+ to 150%+ around Lvl 50, and 250%+ around Lvl 60. (STR+CRIT DMG+%). It is also ok to limit this one to 100% to 200% if you want, to focus more on other stats.
   - Evasion: Just cap it around 70% first (Evasion+%). Increase at later Lvls to around 100% if you want.

   - Accuracy: Only increase if you miss a lot in PvE, or increase to around 200+ to 250+ for PVP purposes (Accuracy+, DEX+). If you are a PVP enthusiast , you need to increase this more, unless the meta changes and everyone drops their Evasion.
   - MP: Just get the bonus MP+ from Necklace upgrade bonuses, and MP Seals.

   - When resetting Stats, I highly suggest you check the stats available per item gear here: Fighter Stat Reset Guide

   - Don't forget to upgrade some of your SEALS too.

Example CRIT Build At Lvl 50 to 59
   - If you reached this point, you probably know now what you are doing.
   - Note: Stats above are not fully optimized, there is still room for improvement. Add in more stats according to your needs or play style.

Other Stats
   - Reflect+%: This could be a game changer at higher levels, add in to your T12 Weapons and/or T10+ Amulets. This stat will reflect incoming damages back to the enemy depending on the percentage of your Reflect stat!

- Slasher Skills: "Balance DEF Type" Build -
Important Note!   - Due to the new revamped skills update, the skill build below is not 100% working. I will update this guide once they release the final patch notes of the revamped Skills and Stats.
By default, skill sets below are focused for PVE or leveling purposes. Note that this is not the only way to build your skills! There are so many skill builds around that is also viable.

*After the v1.0.8 update patch, you can start farming Soul Stones from the Fairy Tower at Lvl 10. It's way easier now, so Awaken your character as fast as possible. Enhance your Fairies also with Fairy Dusts and evolve to get more stats!

Lvl 20 to 29 with 2 Stars

   - Power Slash = Lvl 1 (skip this, unless it's your first character)
   - Stone Skin = MAX Lvl 6
   - Sonic Blade = Lvl 1

   - Main Skills: Stone Skin and Sonic Blade

How to Become a Real Slasher!
   - Since you will be using normal attacks even at higher levels, let me share a little trick to help you become a real slasher!
   - Method: There are 3 attack animations, but during your first attack animation, quickly move your character to any direction to cancel the attack animation, then just spam repeat until all monsters are dead. Start by going into 1 direction (Back > Slash > Back > Slash is easier and faster to practice), then once you get your rhythm, try moving around your targets while attacking to avoid some damages.

   - Keep practicing until you get your own timing, test it against melee monsters first.
   - If you can master this, it's like having an active skill with 0 MP requirement and Cooldown hehe.

   - DEF Increase = MAX Lvl 6
   - DMG Increase = MAX Lvl 6

   - Reserved Skill Points = 14

Lvl 30 to 39 with 3 or 4 Stars

   - Stone Skin = Max Lvl 9 or 10
   - Strength = Lvl 1
   - Jumping Attack = Lvl 1

   - Main Skills: Stone Skin, Sonic Blade, and Strength
   - Basic Combo: Stone Skin > Gather monster mobs > Sonic Blade.

   - DEF Increase = Max Lvl 9 or 12
   - DMG Increase = Max Lvl 9 or 12

   - Reserved Skill Points = 11 (3 Stars) or 16 (4 Stars)

Lvl 40 to 49 with 5 Stars

   - Berserk = Max Lvl 15 (upgrade to at least Lvl 10~12 right away!)
   - Power Bomb = Lvl 10 (cap to Lvl 8~12 until your MP can handle more.) Get more MP from Necklace Ups and MP Seals.

   - Main Skills: Stone Skin, Berserk and Power Bomb
   - Other Skills are still useful for Dungeons, Monster Wave, Raid or PVP, add any skill/s you like according to the situation.

   - Basic Combo: Berserk > Gather Monster Mobs > Power Bomb just before or after your Berserk's duration. This is also very useful for clearing Hero mode boss stages, clear the mob then summon battle pet. Use Stone Skin and/or Strength if needed.

   - DEF Increase = Max Lvl 12
   - DMG Increase = Max Lvl 12

   - Reserved Skill Points = 6

Lvl 50 and Above

   - Power Bomb = Max Lvl 15

   - DEF Increase = Max Lvl 15
   - DMG Increase = Max Lvl 15
   - Passive Master = MAX Lvl 15 (increases the base bonus stat of all passive skills, a nice skill at higher levels.) Reserve or put Skill Points here, and wait until it is fixed. Passive Master is NOT working at the moment, stats doesn't increase at certain Lvls after Lvl 1.

   - DEF Increase per STR: Gives +60% when maxed, a nice skill at higher levels.

   - STR and/or STA Increase = Throw your extra skill points here next, or upgrade and experiment with other active skills with "stun effect" for PVP or Raids, like Jumping Attack! /GG.

   - Solid DEF = Overrides Stone Skin's effect when triggered ("at the moment"), but if you really like to try this (which is actually good), then better reset and re-allocate your Stone Skin's skill points to other skills or here (optional).

The End Game
   - Once you are done with the story line and all available modes, it's time to reach the Max Lvl.
   - Continue or reconfigure your skills for Auto-Battle Grinding, then reset again if you want for PVP builds last. Experiment and have fun!

- Suggested Slasher Set Gears -

*Due to the v1.0.8 update patch, Raid Set Gears are no longer available for new players. For now, use what you need from the available sets dropped from Dungeons, we will update this soon...

So far the popular choice is Destroyer Set.

Upgrade your weapons to higher Lvl and Grades, start aiming for SS weapons once you reach the Hashina Set at Lvl 30+. Weapons can be set or no-set depends on the availability of in-game items.

   - Manticore Set = Grade B
   - Blade Guardian Set = Grade B (with Grade A weapon if you need)
   - Mechanical Golem Set = Grade A

   - Hashina Set = Upgrade to Grade SS, use until Lvl 49. Start aiming for gears with [+1 Gem Slot].

   - Ancient Dragon Set = for Lvl 49+: Grade S or SS, use for 5 or 10+ levels.
   - Dragoon Commander Set = for Lvl 54+: Grade S or SS, use for 5 or more levels.
   - and so on for other sets as needed.

   - Note that this is not the only way, just a suggestion.
