Pixels: How To Get or Craft Storage Chests

Here are some tips on how to get or craft Storage Chests in the building platform, simulation, and adventure game - Pixels (https://www.pixels.xyz).

NOTE: To craft items, you need to find a Woodworking Bench (you can find one at the south east part of Terravilla, or go to any land with multiple Woodworking Bench). Storage Chests (6 Slots) can be crafted after reaching Woodwork Skill Lvl 3.

Buy Storage Chests

Buy From The Marketplace

   - Fastest way to get Storage Chests is to buy them, a bit expensive for sure but if you really need them, it's ok, would recommend prices below 3,000 Berries. If you want to craft them instead and level up some skills, refer below.

How To Craft Storage Chests

   - You need to level up your Woodwork Skill to Lvl 3, to unlock the recipe for the Small Storage Chests. Follow and craft the items below to grind faster XP.

Stick (Woodwork Skill Lvl 0)

   - Recipe = 3 Softwood (Time = 10 Seconds).
   - Buy Softwood = If Softwood's market price is higher than 0.1, it's better to collect them instead of buying.
   - Collect Softwood = Enter any lands with dense trees, then chop down "X" marked trees including their stumps to get faster XP (make sure to pick them all up).
   - Energy Required = 1.75 Energy (3 Softwood and for Crafting).

Recommendations

   - Must Sell = After crafting your Sticks, go to Hazel and sell them to get back some Berries.

   - Grind XP Until Woodwork Skill Lvl 2 = To unlock Planks.

Where To Find Multiple Woodworking Bench?

   - Find a land with x4 Woodoworking Bench to make things faster.

   - TIP: If you want to look for farms with dense trees and multiple Woodworking Bench, try to use this useful tool: Pixels Lookup. Next, go to the P.L.O.T. Building near the center of Terravilla (just the other side of "The Buck's Galore") and use the Infiniportal inside to enter specific lands using farm numbers.

Plank (Woodwork Skill Lvl 2)

   - Recipe = 12 Softwood (Time = 1 Minute).
   - Buy Softwood = If Softwood's market price is higher than 0.1, it's better to collect them instead of buying.
   - Collect Softwood = Enter any lands with dense trees, then chop down trees with an "X" mark including their stumps to get faster XP (make sure to pick them all up).
   - TIP: After reaching Forestry Lvl 2, just chop the trees but ignore all tree stumps because rare items doesn't drop from stumps.
   - Energy Required = 6 Energy (12 Softwood and for Crafting).

Recommendations

   - Must Keep = After crafting your Planks, keep them for crafting Storage Chests.

   - Grind XP Until Woodwork Skill Lvl 3 = To unlock Small Storage Chests.
   - To reach Lvl 3, you'll need 87 Planks (1044 Softwoods and 522 Energy). Add 12 more Softwoods so you can get 88 Planks.

Small Storage Chest (Woodwork Skill Lvl 3)

   - Recipe = 20 Crafting Mix, 1 Glue, 88 Plank (Time = 1 Hour).
   - Buy Crafting Mix = 100 Berries each from The Buck's Galore.
   - Buy Glue = From the Marketplace.
   - Buy Planks = From the Marketplace (after your 1st Storage Chest).

   - After crafting your 1st Storage Chest, start buying all the materials needed. Check your Total Cost before buying them though, if it's way higher than the price of Storage Chests in the Marketplace, it's better to just buy, otherwise craft them.
   - Energy Required = 8 Energy (For Crafting).

Recommendations

   - After crafting your Storage Chest, go to your land and place it there, also works with Beginner's Speck lands (F2P lands).

Should I Craft Glue?

   - Cost is kinda high and the materials for Glue are all luck based (might require more Energy), so NO unless you are a land owner, or you can't buy or trade (no choice but to craft).

   - It's ok though if you are doing the "Wine Not?" Wine Quest series where you can take back your investment on your Queen Bees, Chickens, and Silk Slugs. Refer below to learn more about the quest, note that you need to reach the 3rd or 4th quest from the "Wine Not? Wine Quest" series to collect the materials needed for Glue.

How To Craft Glue?

   - To craft Glue, you need to increase your Ceramicist Skill to Lvl 5. Follow and craft the items below to grind faster XP.

Ironite Bar (Ceramicist Skill Lvl 0)

   - Recipe = 4 Ironite (Time = 30Seconds).
   - Buy Ironites = 1.44 Berries or lower is a good deal, ok until 1.54 Berries.
   - Energy Required = 3 Energy (For Crafting).

Recommendations

   - Must Sell = After crafting your Ironite Bars, go to Hazel and sell them to get your Berries back. Since you bought your Ironites, no need to craft them to Sharpnels (you'll get lower Berry Per Energy).

   - Grind XP Until Ceramicist Skill Lvl 5 = To unlock Glue.
   - To reach Ceramicist Skill Lvl 5, you'll need 200 Ironite Bars (800 Ironites and 600 Energy).

Where To Find Multiple Kiln?

   - TIP: If you want to look for farms with multiple Kiln to make things faster, try to use this useful tool: Pixels Lookup. Next, go to the P.L.O.T. Building near the center of Terravilla (just the other side of "The Buck's Galore") and use the Infiniportal inside to enter specific lands using farm numbers.

Glue (Ceramicist Skill Lvl 5)

   - Recipe = 1 Sap, 1 Seltsam Egg, 3 Honey, 2 Silk Slug Slime (Time = 2 Minutes).
   - Buy Sap = From the Marketplace.
   - Other Materials = Buy or collect them while doing the "Wine Not?" Wine Quest series.
   - Energy Required = 3 Energy (For Crafting).

Recommendations

   - Check your Total Cost before buying them though, if it's way higher than the price of Glue in the Marketplace, it's better to just buy, otherwise craft them.

   - If you want to collect Saps, you need to level up your Forestry Skill to Lvl 5 to unlock Sap (2.5% drop chance, doesn't drop when chopping stumps so avoid those).

I Can't Trade or Buy, What Should I Do?

Your Options

   - Option A = Get VIP.

   - Option B = You need to craft everything.

If Going To Craft Everything

   - Level up your Woodwork Skill to Lvl 3 to unlock the recipe for Small Storage Chest (follow pattern above). Continue leveling up your Forestry Skill to Lvl 5 to unlock Sap (2.5% drop chance, doesn't drop when chopping stumps so avoid those).

   - To craft Glue, you need to Level up your Ceramicist Skill to Lvl 5. In order to get Ironites, you need to find normal "Green" lands with 4 Mines, buy 4 or more Drills from the Buck's Galore and start mining. Craft Ironite Bars and Bricks to increase your Ceramicist Skill.

Seltsam Egg, Honey, and Silk Slug Slime

   - You need at least 5 empty space in your inventory for these items.
   - Buy 1 Queen Bee from the Buck's Galore and place it in the public Apiary (north east of Terravilla).
   - Buy 2 Chickens from the Buck's Galore and place it in the public Coop (south east of Terravilla).

   - Buy 1 Silk Slug from the Buck's Galore and place it in the public Sluggery (west of Terravilla).
   - Continue harvesting until you can collect all items needed.
